Hello everyone! I am in need of players once again and would like to offer one or both of these ideas should there be enough interest. Happy gaming!
Prompt #1: Pathinder and the MMO World. Much like other stories involving MMO worlds, this story includes a virtual world in which many other players participate in everyday gaming life. I will attempt to include everything and anything that an MMO would have, including but not limited to: Instant Messaging, some class swapping, monster play, dungeons, raid bosses, hirelings, guilds, and so forth. The setting is a high fantasy medieval adventure that uses different classes than normal Pathfinder. Those can be found here: http://www.finalfantasyd20.com/ .
We will be using a few alternative rules, such as having a sub class that levels up slower than the main class and the high mana variant to allow for plenty of spell casting. There will also be healing potions and mana potions, as well as world changing quests and different paths for each character to choose. There will be spawn points that can be attuned by the players and death only leads to respawning with some minor penalties and money loss.
It will be an eventful and open-ended experience with a Final Fantasy flair.
Prompt #2: Pathfinder and Monster Rancher World. This story involves a world where heroes and adventurers are not the only ones who see profit in attacking and conquering the many different beasts. Merchants, Wranglers, Underhands, and Ranchers unite at a small merchant guild to discuss the next biggest thing in the market: Monster Ranching.
The four different "classes" will receive bonus feats to assist them in their specific role. The concept of play will be attempting to buy/sell different monsters, capturing monsters, having the monsters create new and strange beasts, and using the money to buy gear, upgrade the home base, donate or bribe, and even level up. Will the adventurers flourish despite facing financial decisions, monsters, cultists, and even the law?
This adventure will use more standard Pathfinder rules and classes and races.
