Forums » Out Of Character Chatter -- All Systems » On Selling Loot

If you've acquired loot of any kind during your adventures and wish to convert items into gold, you are welcome to exchange them in a shop/vendor/merchant or fence in an appropriate social thread in between quests or where appropriate during adventures with friends. Likewise, you are welcome to make purchases at such places as well.

Most of the valuable items that are handed out will have a monetary value attached. I strongly recommend that you record that value on your character sheet beside the item it corresponds to so that when you perform the exchange, you will know how much gold the item is worth.

If you plan to exchange it without bartering, you can feel free to simply write it out, in character inside an appropriate thread and mark your sheet accordingly. If you wish to barter or negotiate, you will need to involve a GM to provide the "merchant" side of the equation for an opposed check. Likewise for anything involving stealing, sleight of hand, bluffing or any other kind of check.

Check the core rule book for pricing information.

GM has the right to refuse or reverse a transaction if they feel the gain or loss of an item may tamper with future story-telling opportunities.
