Sunny Island:

Mt. Blackcloud

This mountain looms over the Burning Bridge. It fuels the hotsprings on its north end and heats the pools of water underneath the bridge. Pranksters and Pokemon enthusiasts alike enjoy sending mail in regards to rare Pokemon sightings, as the mountain is very smokey the further you climb, obscuring vision.

Loose rocks, the mountain's constant smoke, and the heat make climbing the mountain not for the faint of heart. But it's still advertised for its hotsprings and very different Pokemon that call the mountain home.

The Burning Bridge:

This bridge connects Parkway to the island's other areas.

A popular place leading to the Morpheus Science Center, Mt. Blackcloud, and the land beyond. The bridge spans the length of the hot pools of water below, too hot to be enjoyed by most Pokemon and humans alike. Trainers from all over attend tournaments held on the bridge during all seasons, due to the favorable weather of the region.

The bridge holds special events for trainers to compete in during the winter and summer hours, each with their own changing themes on what Pokemon can be used and the prizes change between each event.

Flossy Town:

Flossy Town is a strictly regulated town with its own methods of cleaning the city. There are surprisingly large fines for littering in this town and since it's so small, it's hard to escape being noticed for doing so.

Flossy Town is directly across the ocean from Whalerdrake and the two towns are quite opposite. Flossy Town's cleanness carries over to the locations around it and it's Pokemon Gym is equally spotless. The town is a relaxing vacation area with many interesting sight-seeing opportunities around it.

There have been some reports of pranks, but these are few and far between. The Fire-Pokemon fanatics mostly stay near Mt. Blackcloud.

Morpheus Science Center:

The most Pokemon-centered science center. The doctors there have dedicated their lives to learning Pokemon behavior, how to influence it, and generally try to rehabitilate extreme cases of Pokemon abuse/violence. Dr. Tannim runs the facility as head scientist. The center is located just after the Burning Bridge.

Small amounts of funds from each of the towns on Sunny Island goes to the science center as a collective effort. The center is shaped like a large dome and almost resembles a Pokeball from afar. Campers and trainers alike like to occupy the grounds around it and use it as a resting point.

Whale Island:

Whalerdrake hosts a fair number of population, but has since been on the decline financially. The town was once famous for its Wailmer products, but slowly, the migrating Laprases outnumbered the Wailmer and forced the inhabitants of Whalerdrake to take up jobs such as cobbling shoes for travelers and carpentry/masonry to fix up their Pokecenter and Poke' Gym.

Their Pokeshop is under new ownership as of late, and their original Gym Leader went into the woods one day and never returned. The town is very superstitious, seeing their decline as a bad omen that keeps getting worse.

Whalerdrake is situated to the South East of Nirava Resort, also residing along the coastline. There's a ferry that travels between the islands that is usually docked here.

Nirvana Reserve:

Pokemon Reserve Nirvana, well known for its population of grazing Kangaskhan and its seasonal visits from Laprases seeking a place to breed. Nirava is a grassy plain, with some outlying forests, and a coast along it's west side. It hosts only a handful of workers and two of the Acacia family, after a recent tragedy. Many travelers visit during the migration period to see the Laprases.

It was well-off, financially, but may be on the decline after the tragedy. Some folk from the nearby town of Whalerdrake view it with envy. The Reserve is Northwest of the town, settled closer to the woods and to the coast with a great view from the nearby cape.

Pineroot Woods:

These deep woods surrounding Whalerdrake offer a variety of challenges to travelers. For one, there are few paths that lead through the woods. Most travelers to Whalerdrake tend to travel by ferry. The delicious berries and pinecones tend to lure wild Pokemon by the bunch, and a good number of Pokemon are poisonous that tend to disguise themselves as plants.

Not to mention the multiple caves, the expanse of the forest itself, and the rough terrain that makes biking difficult, this forest is several days of exploration in the very least!

Gruum Cavern:

A seaside cavern that hosts a wide variety of sea-life. The gentle waves that make it inside the cave are relaxing to resting Pokemon and the outcrop on top of the cavern offers an excellent place to nest for bird Pokemon. It's fairly deep and does continue on, underwater. There are six different "rooms" of the cavern, between the winding and wet rocks.

The people of Whalerdrake wanted to flatten the top of the Cavern long ago, to place a light house there. This would have assisted the ferryman in arriving at the early hours, where the beach side is usually covered in a thick fog. But the idea was voted against by the facility of the Nirvana Reserve and some concerned citizens.

The Diamond Shelter:

The Diamond Shelter is a Moonstone mine North-West of Whalerdrake. The mountain is filled with the semi-precious stone and the workers' operations usually occur deeper in the mountain where the Pokemon that live within are likely not to be.

The dust that accumulates in the mining process is sold in the larger cities. These Moondust products have a variety of uses: in herbal medicines, in perfumes, in Meowth litter, and even as fertilizer.

Until recently, the mining operations in the Diamond Shelter have been running smoothly, however, something has disturbed the peace there.

Marblewell:

The town-city of Marblewell is well on its way to becoming a larger city. But some locals don't see the factorization of milk production as an advancement, so the urbanization of Marblewell is at a stalemate. The town is surrounded by dairy farms, as the land beyond the mountain is flat and plentiful with green fields.

Almost every trainer of Marblewell has normal typed Pokemon that work well in herds. The other major industry of Marblewell is the mining operation of moon dust from the nearby Diamond Shelter.
