Hi, I'm JP, I'm a writer and avid lover of DnD. I have been playing since high school, and have played both Pathfinder and 5e, though recently I and some friends have begun playing some Starfinder. I've only ever run one campaign and am currently running it with a group of friends, I'm very new to DMing so I'm not very good, but I tend to believe I'm a good storyteller. I tend to play a ratfolk, kenku, or goblins or a similarly shady number of races, I tend to play mostly physical and nonmagical classes but have been considering playing a warlock of a Kraken. I tend to really like homebrew races and classes. My first character's death was to an Arcane Golem, which I thought my ratfolk Elroth could befriend, I could not, he crushed my skull, with no trouble, it was messy, no one grieved my death, he'd been known for stupid things like that. My fish like memory tends to leave me forgetting a number of things such as names, events, and mechanics, so be warned I might need some help every once and a while.
I hope to be good friends with you all or at least be friendly acquaintances, until then happy spelunking.

Hello and welcome! We have varying views on homebrew material, but I personally like 3rd party material. We have a few games of both Pathfinder and 5e, and an interest list on our discord channel for other games such as Starfinder and many others. I have personally never DM'd, except for one-shots, in regards to Pathfinder and DnD. But I made a commitment, in the form of a New Year's resolution, to DM a story for much longer and that is how I became a Pokemon GM.
Hmm, I believe my first character's death involved my Pathfinder Society Cleric. In the later levels, perhaps 7 or 8, the group was fighting exploding golems. My character was dropped during the fight and the resulting explosion brought her far past her Constitution of 10. But she had enough renown for a free revive, so I brought her back from the dead, albeit a little changed and a shift to focus on necromancy.
