Rules

  • RULES TO PLAY BY

    1. Respect the other players. Tolerate each other’s quirks. Suggest not criticize other RPers work. These three items will help everyone to grow in their ability of writing and characters will develop more depth. The RP will be more fun as well.

    2. Do not post before you are accepted into the RP.

    3. Please keep all Out of Character chat to the chat or DM. This way rps don't get cluttered up with idle chit chat.

    4. Watch your language! While I prefer not to see swear words, I will allow some pass for it is in everyday life. However, if you happen to be posting with swearing in every post, you will be warned. If it continues, you will be kicked out of the RP.

    5. Make your best effort to write intriguing and interesting posts—everyone gets better at writing and roleplaying so keep asking questions, so you can learn.

    6. Keep Player Knowledge Separate From Character Knowledge. Just because you know something does not mean that your character was there and hearing what you have read. I hope this makes sense!

    7. READ WHAT IS WRITTEN! Don’t just scan then post on what you think that you have read. Really honestly read what the other players’ have to say.

    8. All characters are to be Human or Demon!

    9. If you have any problem, please see me.
If you do not like something, please see me.
If you are having fun, please see me.
If you are not having fun, please see me.
I can’t fix anything unless I know it is broken!

    10. If by chance that I miss your post, please let me know that you were overlooked and was it on purpose or accidentally. I am The Creator but I not a god. I still make mistakes. But sometimes, I do ignore a comment, action, post…..

    11. I reserve the right to adjust the Rules as I see fit. I will post if and when I do change the Rules.

    Suggestion But NOT A RULE
Post Length is important! If possible, have a 2-sentence reply; the more, the better. I understand everyone has their own styles, but while I appreciate quality over quantity, there’s not much to be said with less than two. If it doesn’t keep the RP moving, ADD MORE.
Having troubles getting a long enough post? Read this:
-Describe the scenery. Description of the surroundings can provide a hefty paragraph and is good filler material if you're strapped for something to say.

-Describe how your character is feeling and why. Are they morose for a particular reason? Are they happy for some reason? Elaborate on this and you may find you that you have written more than enough!

-More detail. Detail is key. If your character said something, describe their tone of voice, facial expression, or body language.
