West of the main church, which they call the Sanctuary, is the Gathering—a central area for dining, cooking, and meeting as a group. North of the Gathering are four offices, two of which are storage, one is Nathan's private quarters, the other Verla’s. West of the Gathering is an alcove leading outside, and south of that are more storage rooms and a lounge. Southwest of the Gathering is a small chapel, which is currently unaltered. South of the Gathering is a small, outdoor courtyard surrounded on all sides by high stone walls. Nathan describes this as an area for outside entertaining and parties, which breaks the somber mood momentarily. The second floor has several meeting rooms and offices, which have not been altered yet, and finally a northern and western set of private quarters.
