For the last 3 years, an amusement park had bought and built a huge amusement park. The people were not allowed to see what was going on inside. Not only suspicions but suspense was building up during the last 6 months after the announcements released.
Three weeks before the opening, the amusement park announced its name.
Optical Illusions Extravaganza. An one day contest where names were placed on cards as well as addresses were mailed to Optical Illusions Extravaganza. If the card did not have the correct date, that card was tossed in a bin.
The following week, 12 cards were chosen and declared winners for a 3 day free stay at the Optical Illusions Hotel. A second set of 12 cards were chosen to come for a 75% discount then 12 more for 50% discount and for 25% discount.
1 reporter and 1 photographer were chosen for a 3 month stay with all food, rides and allowance were chosen.
All were happy but 1 person who was forced to go. He was going to foul up somehow and get fired. He was wanting something more exciting than a bunch of rides and games. Why his boss ever decided to pair him up with Miranda, he couldn’t figure out at all.
The big day arrived and everyone was there except for 1 who left a message that he was on a cruise in the Bahamas and couldn’t be bothered.
Another person was chosen at random.
Miranda was allowed inside early so that she could get some spectacular pictures per owner’s request. Mr. S wanted everything recorded for the future archives.
Mr. S also wanted nothing to go wrong which it did. He slammed his phone down and spat out “I should change my name to Murphy the way everything is going wrong today!”
He paced back and forth in his office as the time approached for the gate to open.
Miranda was now ready to ‘shoot’ with the 5 cameras that she had set up and was waiting for her partner to show up when a guy came running up with the new that she was on her own for the moment.
Miranda sighed and said ok and asked for a way to block people from coming up from behind her. She was pinned in with tables and a high stool was placed in the center. The cameras were already boxed in so all she had to do was to start the 2 hour tapes.
The count down was started and Miranda was ready to film.
