The Knights
The Knights are a group of players in Aelenar who's main goal is to beat the game. They accept help from outsiders as well as offer help to them. They tend to butt heads with The Subjugators because of their difference in opinions.
ROLES- GuildmasterThe Guildmaster leads and maintains the guild. The position is likely to remain the same, however, should the need arise for another to take over, the position would be given to a Earl that has proven themselves reliable.
- Council Of EarlsCaptain/General/Commander/Earl/Admiral: These titles are given to those who have proven themselves to be active, loyal, and involved Members of the Guild. The Council of Earls are viewed as leaders of the Guild and will have many of the same resources and privileges of the Guildmaster so that they may better help the guild. The Council of Earls are expected to help run the guild with recruitment and other similar matters.
- ProtectorsKnight/Chevalier/Paladin: these are members who have proven themselves skilled fighters. Their mission is to aid and protect the players who can't do so for themselves, whether they're in the guild or not.
- InitiatesAn Initiate is one who has recently been brought into the Guild. New members who have just been added to the guild will receive the title of “Apprentice” and will keep this title until the Guildmaster decides to advance them. One must simply abide by the guild rules in order to stay in the guild as an “Apprentice.”
- Specialized RolesMerchantWhile there are many different names for these members, from shopkeeper to craftsman, one thing remains the same; they sell items. Some may sell specific items, like weapons, or potions, while some may sell anything they can get their hands on. Some merchants accept trade, but some may prefer if you brought gold.
Treasure HuntersThese are members with special abilities (Cartography, Lockpicking, etc...) that search for artifacts, weapons, etc to return to the guild for pay.
ScoutsThese are members with special abilities (Tracking, Detect Hidden, Stealth) that move ahead of parties to determine if their route is safe.
MedicsThese are members with special abilities (Healing Magic) that tend to stay in the back during battle to heal those fighting.

The Watchdogs
This is a group of players dedicated to protecting the players who can't defend themselves. They try to prevent any player x player crime possible, or bring justice to those responsible.

The Brotherhood
This is a guild of members who only take interest in gold. They're thieves and murderers. Some prefer the life of killing other players for gold, whereas other's would rather steal for it. Either way, The Brotherhood is infamously known for it's criminals.

Unassociated
Unassociated members are known as Solo Players, or Rogues. They can have multiple skills they would have picked up in their travels. Though they usually work alone, they can at times assist guilds or trade with them. And while most who are unassociated are solo players, there are also players who are merely citizens, not wanting to risk their real lives in the virtual world. -
