I found this article interesting, and it helps explain why I've had Landi price some of the things at the Dancing Needle so highly. It takes a long time to make a thing, back in the time period our dream is based on, and things were designed to last a long while, too!

This, is a good read. I like the way they break down the prices with labor and everything as well as the other additional process like the weaving and such.
