    ➾ Abbadon
Quadrant & Sector: Delta Quadrant, Delta Sector
    Star System: Qar
    Habitability Scale: ◆◆◆◇◇
Natives: Long extinct; largely populated by cosmopolitan New Arrivals.

Overview: An earth-sized desert planet, known for its inhospitable wastes and for the destroyed husks of those that tried. Situated in-line with the Delta Wormhole, it's commonly where 'New Arrivals' end up: either in orbit or crash-landed on its surface.

The planet is roughly earth-sized but Martian in makeup, with a prominently CO2 atmosphere, and reddish-tinged skies and sands. The planet is covered by a series of "Habitat Domes", large glass-ceilinged self-contained environment in which most of the (non-native) populous live.

The planet is also well-known for its sandworms, large carniverous beings that see by sensing seismic vibrations and eats nearly anything that stays too long out in the wastes.

Environment: Arid CO2 desert; minimal surface water. Soil is moderately high in iron oxide, causing a reddish appearance; CO2 atmosphere causes hazy pink skies. Minor plate tectonics, leading to higher erosion than lithification of rock. High winds and sandstorms are very common. The planet is best described as an 'Earth-sized Mars'.

Flora is very sparse; low shrubbery that can survive the sandstorms. Fauna is often reptilian, from small lizards to massive horse-sized reptiles. However the most notable creatures are the huge sandworms. They are able to sense ground-movement and will lay in wait patiently for anyone to walk above their lair, before pouncing.

Government: Minimal. Most of the planet is open desert and ruins; there are several 'hubs' housed in biomes with nitrogen-oxygen air, which are loosely run by the Galaxy Federation. These mostly house traders, scavengers and New Arrivals.

Astronomical Anomalies: Orbiting around the planet is the bizarre 'Delta Wormhole', a semi-stable Einstein-Rosen Bridge that periodically spits out garbage and people from other galaxies.

    ➾ Earth 446
Quadrant & Sector: Delta Quadrant, Delta Sector
    Star System: Qar
    Habitability Scale: ◆◆◆◆◆
Natives: Primitive animals; currently occupied largely by humans

Overview: Slightly-larger-than-earth-sized Nitrogen-Oxygen planet. One of the central hubs of the Qar System, it is largely settled by oxygen-breathing inhabitants, the majority of the populous being human.

Environment: Very Earth-like. The higher gravity and brighter star results in slightly more low, grounded flora and native animals. There is a more even divide of surface water to land, and the tilt of the axis allows a variety of environments and seasons.

Government: The planet is heavily GalFed controlled.

    ➾ Erebus
Quadrant & Sector: Delta Quadrant, Delta Sector
    Star System: Qar
    Habitability Scale: ◆◆◆◇◇
    Natives: Indigenous tribes

Overview: Erebus is a frigid planet almost year-round. The winters are long and brutal, with temperatures averaging -65°F. There is very little daylight during these months. The planet warms slightly in the summer, averaging about 32°F, and sees continuous daylight. The highest temperature ever recorded on Erebus was a whopping 55°F.

Environment: Not only is Erebus one of the coldest planets in the Mobius Strip Galaxy, it's also one of the driest and windiest. Wind gusts of nearly 200 miles per hour have been recorded. Despite its bone-chilling temperatures, Erebus rarely receives any precipitation, including snow.

Erebus is covered almost entirely by ice. There are mountains on the planet, but most of them are hidden beneath the ice. The highest point is Innisbo Peak at 14,250 feet.

There are very few plants that can survive the harsh climate of Erebus, with its extreme temperatures, strong winds, and lack of rain. Algae, mosses, and microscopic fungi can survive in the snow and on the coastal rocky land, as well as in Erebus' fresh and saltwater lakes, rivers, and oceans.

Erebus' polar oceans, surprisingly enough, are teeming with life. An assortment of fish and marine mammals call Erebus' waters home. The hardy wapiti, an animal not dissimilar from caribou, roam Erebus' glaciers. There are also a few goofy bird species able to withstand Erebus' harsh climate.

Government: Erebus is a large planet with small pockets of civilization. Indigenous tribes dot Erebus' rugged coastlines, but there are no cities to speak of. Erebus' inhabitants survive by fishing and hunting, and do not always take kindly to outsiders. There is no government to speak of.

  • ➾ Nikrusis
    Quadrant & Sector: --
    Star System: Epsilon-15-1426, Giant Star
    Habitability Scale: ◆◆◆◆◇
    Natives: --

Overview: An industrial-dense, heavily polluted planet populated by various business-driven races. Glittering buildings stack on top of each other in this perpetually dark world. The planet has long since been depleted of its continental resources, so agriculture is not commonplace unless it came from the sea.
    More information
The planet is exceedingly overpopulated, but little is done to regulate it. The poor working class outweighs the rich, but the rich runs the show. Home to every kind of race imaginable, everyone is treated with equality--some more than others. There are rich districts, poor districts, and homeless districts in some of the bigger cities. Folks without a home tend to take on a rogue lifestyle here, and do what they can to survive while partaking in gang turf wars.

Nikrusis is a terribly bleak and miserable planet to live on, but it is highly rich in business, and money talks. It is also home to universities, colorful casinos, shopping, and food industries.

Note: Nikrusis's resources are often shipped to them to help sustain the population. As of right now, there are no food shortages. Fish as a food source is acceptable, but because of the violent ocean, it is difficult to acquire the resource safely. Fish meat needs to be thoroughly cleansed in case of consumption due to the toxins in the water.

    Notable Places

Canopus University -- A prestigious and posh educational facility offering various subjects of learning.

The Golden Chalice -- A magnificent casino.

    More coming soon!

Environment: The sea contains a plethora of terrifying megafauna, evolved over time to withstand the pollutants in the water. The rainfall does not provide for adequate growth. The toxicity is so rampant that the soil has become almost obsolete of its nutrients. Little vegetation can withstand the toxicity levels in the rain. Because of this, there are so few land animals that exist today. Most have gone extinct. There are efforts raised by the government to clean up the planet's environment. There are several cleaning systems in effect. To tamper with them is highly illegal. Clean water is scarce and the inhabitants rely on other distant systems to ship potable water.

While protective gear is recommended if exposed in the rain for hours at a time, people can easily walk through it without suffering acid burns.

Government: The world is run by a leader named Pres. Illi'os Yorus and has a thriving government sanctioned by the Galaxy Federation. Rumors say Pres. Yorus has dealings with criminal activity, but it cannot be proven. His is a loud voice among a population of smaller, insignificant voices... A puppet to a whisper in the dark...
    More information

The 'planet capitol' is simply called 'The Capitol'. It contains a military base, the President's luxurious home, and it is where most business activities take place. It is about the size of a small country, and is nestled along the coast with a view of giant waves.

    Planetary Moons

Due to the planet's dual moons, the hydrocarbon seas have a monstrous gravitational pull, boasting waves that crest thousands of feet high. It is because of this that most cities are built way above sea-level, and is considered safe.

Athone: A dry moon mined for its unique alloys. Known for its distinctive reddish color. No atmosphere.

Athasse: A moon primarily made of salt, giving it a crystallized and bluish appearance. The salt is edible and has a distinctive flavor different from Earthlike salts. Contains several appealing caverns. No atmosphere.

  • ➾ Orbital Spacecolony Rho-12
    Quadrant & Sector: --
Star System: Ra (र) Main-Sequence Star
    Planet: Resh (Jovian-Type Planet)
    Habitability Scale: ◆◆◆◆◆
    Natives: Predominantly Humans

Overview: The spacestation is the latest in a line of colony-satellites built to orbit Resh, although it's still quite old itself. Absolutely massive, the station is constructed of several slowly-rotating rings linked in parallel. Artifical gravity is generated the old-fashioned way: by angular momentum. The station generates energy from a number of sources, including classic solar panels, solar wind generators, as well as massive water tanks undergoing tidal influence from the gas giant it orbits.

Each massive ring has its own self-governance, like individual mini-states under one nation. There is some class disparity between rings, although crime isn't isolated just to the 'bad neighbourhood rings', and the global average is comparable with galactic census. Overall, Rho-12 is incredibly average, boasting everything from run-down, poorly-maintained neighbours, to suburban middle-class sprawls, to ritzy Hollywood-esque boulevards. It has a comfortable tourism scene, with a couple theme-parks on several of its middle rings, nice shops, and prestigious universities.

Being an entirely artificial satellite, the colony relies entirely on getting all of its non-renewable resources shipped in, from mining colonies and trading. Ring disparity is also somewhat amplified by the industry-divide, with specific rings housing agriculture and production cycles.

The remnants of the abandoned previous Rho legacies still orbit Resh; some are intact, many are destroyed, and the whole lot of them are often rife with space pirates. The Rho line of satellites has always boasted solid security, meaning even years after their abandonment they haven't quite all been picked clean. It's always an event every time a hacker or smith is able to break their way through a new layer. The pirates squat in much of the wreckage--either cracking into new sections themselves, or waiting to jump out at unsuspecting scavengers.

Environment: Artificially generated and heavily regulated. Earth-like seasons and weather, with one-week warning.

    Government: Strict. To expand on.

Prime Minister Jaival Gadhavi is the current head of government on Rho-12, having only been voted in one term back. He was a long-serving Senator for many years prior, and has kept mostly positive favour in the polls (baring one incident directly after entering office).

  • ➾ Hae'lnahthoria
    Quadrant & Sector: --
    Star System: --
    Habitability Scale: ◆◇◇◇◇
Natives: Terrifying fauna and even more terrifying flora

Overview: Despite having an atmosphere largely breathable to humans and other Mobius races, Hae'l was long abandoned as a viable candidate for colonization. Its violently aggressive fauna and its dangerous, often carnivorous flora make it a deathtrap for any civilized being, and a useful hideout for any criminal willing to brave it.

Environment: Largely dense forests, bogs and swamps, the ground covered in decaying foliage as the humid atmosphere makes forest fires rare. The result is a constant smell of decay, rot.

  • ➾ Xutune
    Quadrant & Sector: --
    Star System: Epsilon-15-1426 Orange Dwarf
    Habitability Scale: ◆◆◆◆◆
    Natives: Fayenal

Overview: Xutune is the known homeplanet of the race; Fayenal, and imports their own advanced cybernetics to other planets (which have a special metal fitting through it) and is home to Engineering schools that accept all races.

Environment: Humid; heavier rains during the spring/summer months. Never snows, and cold days are barely considered such to outsiders. The plant life is well-supported. However, half of the planet is filled with swamplands that are dangerous due to the creatures roaming that part of the planet. Some of the plants, too, can be deadly.

  • ➾ Tytonidias
Quadrant & Sector: Alpha Quadrant, Nought Sector
    Star System: --
    Habitability Scale: ◆◆◆◆◆
    Natives: Stryx

Overview: A failed colony planet, Tytonidias (Tyton for short) has caused a lot of controversy for declaring independence from the GalFed. The majority of the planet is wild, hosting a wide range of climates, from tropical to desert. Its native species' consist mainly of different varieties of avian, with a few exceptions, and a race of semi-sentient bipedal Strigidae, owl-like people who are extremely savage. They destroyed and murdered the last colony that attempted to settle the planet, leading to the GalFed to declare the planet 'off-limits'.

But recently, Tyton has been colonized outside of the GalFed's jurisdiction. It hosts only one city, the mysterious 'New Haven', located within an excavated mountain. Built (it's rumoured) by a mysterious android, it was given into the care of the eccentric Doctor Tur'uk, the lead scientist in the efforts to better understand the planet, and New Haven's mayor. The city is brand new--inhabited only by automated drones up until the events of 'Whiteout'. This saw the ex-prisoners and guards of the 'Blackout' satellite being lead to Tyton as a sort of haven. As such, the city is brand new and has no pre-existing residents.

    New Haven
    Information to come.

    Environment: --

Government: It's unknown at this moment if the Stryx have a complex hierarchical system or governing rules. In New Haven, the government is still in the process of forming and has no formal council just yet. The Mayor is one Doctor Jeslyn Tur'uk, an eccentric exobiologist and geneticist, and ex-prisoner of the Blackout satellite.
