A bar/lounge and restaurant that is a place where members of any family or even independent individuals meet, celebrate, or go simply to learn information going around the city. Despite being in the Royal Palm Casino on the Waterfront which is Minella territory, the venue is seen as neutral ground.
A black sedan pulled up to the valet parking at the casino. It was Ritchie’s day off. He was stopping by to get a bite to eat and potentially look for help with a job. “How ya doin’?” He smiled at the valet and tipped him 50 dollars. “Take care of her for me”, he said about his car. Soon afterwards he entered the casino floor and made his way through the crowd.

It’d been some time since he’s seen some of the others. The family seems to have been keeping things low key. He nodded to one of the security staff, who recognized him from working shifts together. Riccardo nodded to him with a smirk and tipped an imaginary cap.
Victoria walked into Ralph's with purpose. Nat told her to keep an ear out for any information about Nick's death. " Someone has to know something and When someone kills a boss, they won't keep it to themselves. I have a post for information on the job board, but I no one sees that I want you to do what you do best and listen to whatever gossip is going around before you go on stage, Vicky." Natalie's voice rang in Victoria's head. Her big sister was serious about finding whoever killed their big brother and basically orphaned their niece. The Minellas are a force to be reckoned with and no one in the city dared cross them, until now at least, when only two days ago Nick Minella was killed outside the gates of Minella Mansion.

* Early evening, Natalie had reserved a more private area of the restaurant for this meeting, Natalie and the others were already present, Victoria, the youngest of the three Minella siblings had managed to postpone her set until the end of the meeting and Natalie sent a quick text to Richie asking if he'd like to attend. All that was left to do was wait.
Eventually, Kaine had arrived at the restaurant in his chauffeur driven car. Glancing at his driver through the rear-view mirror, he gave him a grin.

"You know where to park, right George?" Once the driver silently nodded, Kaine patted him on the shoulder gratefully. Turning to the two bodyguards within the car, he clapped and ushered the two out before getting out himself. Out stepped two bodyguards in black and white suits, and following behind them was the Markin's boss dress in a cherry red pinstripe suit and a pair of neatly ironed slacks. Once the car door shut, the vehicle drove away. The valet stared at the three men as they walked in.

The trio approached the back where the meet-up was being hosted and once he walked into the room, he put on a huge grin.

"Well, well, well, I hope we're not late. I'm terribly sorry to hear about your brother's death. Which we are here to discuss, are we not?" Kaine removed the hat from his head and pressed it against his chest, waiting for permission to sit down.
Natalie nodded curtly. " I appreciate your condolences." " I understand that my brother was negotiating allowing your family to extend business to our waterfront. I am willing to consider it depending on what you're planning to do. Before stepping down, the previous Markin boss based Markin business around drugs. I do not want that shit on my waterfront or anywhere else in my territory. Are we clear?" she asked getting to business quickly before taking a sip of wine from the glass she had in front of her and tucked a strand of chestnut hair behind her ear. " Anything you'd like to ask?"
Kaine shifts his weight onto a different leg as he moves his hat to his side. He glanced around the other faces in the room as he carefully spoke.

"Of course, my dear. Though the previous boss would take advantage of your hospitality, I would never. You're already being so generous to allow us to have some waterfront territory." Kaine thinks for a second and then smiles.

"But tell me, what do you intend to do for this negotiation? I assume that you all aren't doing this from the goodness of your hearts?"
" I was intending on introducing myself as the new Minella boss and trying to mend our previous business relationship our families had prior to your predecessor rising to power. Both of our families used to ensure the success of this city. I'd like things to return to that." Natalie responded, " We would also appreciate your help in discovering the truth of why my brother was killed, if you would be willing to offer your help."
Kaine pinched his chin between his index finger and thumb, and he gave off a little hum.

"Ah, so you want help to return things back to the way they were? Interesting. I never thought a Minella would suggest such a thing." He pauses.

"And you want help from us to figure out your brother's murder? Seems a little desperate to as your rival for aid already. Now, I'm not saying we did anything, but it'd be reasonable that you'd blame the Markin family before you'd let them help."
" Sir, you forget that both of our families worked and put money into the city to keep it prospering. A childish rivalry has been in the way of those ideals we hold for far too long. I am not being desperate, I know that at this point in time, it is unlikely that we will find any new information with out help from those outside my family. " Natalie explained. She'd never expected to need to explain herself to a Markin before.

A short distance away, a small boy was doing an excellent job of not being seen.
Whom, exactly, he had followed to this meeting, or if he'd read about it, would be a question only Æsc could answer, and it was unlikely he was about to give that information up to anybody. Perhaps he'd simply stumbled on them. He did have a curious gift for being in the right place, at the right time.

How long he'd been observing them was a question only he could answer, too; had he been here the entire time, or only just arrived? He'd been here long enough, at least, to acquire a drink, purchased or stolen - one might hope the latter, in fact, given it appeared to be some form of cocktail. However long he'd been watching, clearly he'd decided it was time to make his presence known, as he sauntered towards them now.

"Evenin'," he greeted the pair of bosses, as casually as if he was their equal - which, in Æsc's eyes, he absolutely was. They might be the heads of mafia families, but he was the head of his own little family, and sometimes a family could just be a boy and his rather large collection of knives. "Isn't this a cosy little meetin'? Like a real family reunion. Don' let me interrupt this whole thing." He waved a hand between them, as he took a seat and leant forwards to listen intently, as though watching some dramatic television show.
Kaine pressed the hat in his hand against his chest once more and lifted his other hand into the air defensively. There was a faux out on his face as he spoke.

"Now, now, you assume I didn't know about our families' origins and their legacy of having hand in creating this city! I was merely referring to the feud of the past few years. Of course, I agree with mending our families' relationship with each other, and we will help in any way we can to find the guilty. Have no fear about that." He said, a grin growing on his face.

"Now, before the moon itself falls asleep, what information do you have about what happened to your brother?"
Natalie nodded. " I simply wanted to clarify that. As for my brother's murder, I only know that before sunrise, my brother was called to meet with someone just outside the gates of Minella Mansion, From our security footage, it appears that this mystery visitor found an area without any of our surveillance cameras recording. About an hour later, Nick's body was found just outside the gate when the guard at the gate checked the cameras. He was killed with a single shot to the left temple." Natalie explained. " My poor niece isn't taking it well."

A sympathetic expression crossed the man's face.

"How awful. At least he died without suffering. Now, I have to ask, how was the murderer not seen by anybody else within the hour? Was there nobody else around?"

"And how is your niece... um..." He snaps his fingers a few times as though it would help him remember anything.
"I was there soon after," Æsc piped up, unable to keep quiet much longer, especially when he seemed to be being ignored. "Didn't see anyone, though. It was proper dark. An' then there were loads of people aroun' his body."
" Thank you for your input dear." Natalie said toÆsc
Kaine blinked and turned to Æsc, surprise marking his facial features. His eyes scanned the lad up and down.

"Well now, I haven't seen you before. Well, I've seen you, but I know nothing about you. Are you an... ally of the Minella's. Well, obviously you are, of course. You're here, aren't you?" Waving away his runaway train of thought, Kaine coughed.

"Anyhow, I'm assuming that the grounds were clean? No clues to speak of other than the method of death?"
a" The grounds were unnaturally clean, as far as the area outside of the gates are concerned. The inside courtyard is protected by not only my guards, but various types of security and the head of my security team has two dogs guarding along side my three who protect the inside of the mansion itself."
