A large mansion located in the outskirts of town and the base for the Markin Family.
Within this large mansion on the outskirts of Seahaven, was a man draped over the main couch in one of the Markin family lounges. Well, there were the maids and hands skittering about the abode doing their own things, but this man was the only man of the true Markin family name. Not only that, but he was the boss of them as well, the highest position one can have.

This man ran his fingers through his inky black hair as his deep blue eyes watched the tv in front of him rather bored. He took a sip from the glass of bourbon in his hand nonchalantly as the news flashed on the screen.
This man, the Markin family boss, went by Kaine.

"Nothing to watch, nothing to do." He sighed. "You'd think that with over 4000 channels there'd be something on that wasn't porn." He took another sip. As he took his sip, one of his hands approached him and whispered into Kaine's ear. The expression on his face grew from a look of indifference to absolute slyness. Shooing the hand away, Kaine raised his glass and let out a single laugh.

"Perfect." He purred.
After pouring himself another glass of bourbon, Kaine strode back over to the couch situated in front of the enormous television screen and sat back down with a sigh. He tapped the glass a few times, took a sip, and placed it down beside the laptop sitting on top of the glass coffee table before him. He then grabbed the device and flipped it open to check his emails and messages.

Everything was the same old same old types of emails, but his eyes immediately flew towards the top where the most recent message from the Minella family resided. Thinking for a few seconds, he went to click and read it. His eyes traveled down the page and he smiled.

"Oh? A request to meet up with little ol' me and others? I suppose I should attend the funeral and the meet-up. Wouldn't want to disappoint old Nick." Kaine chuckled to himself before checking the rest of his emails and shutting his laptop down.

Rising from the couch, Kaine leisurely walked towards the foyer of the mansion. Ignoring all of the grandiose decorations passing him by, the mafia boss gingerly grabbed his long black coat and threw it on, wiggling his body a little to make wearing it more comfortable. Reaching for his hat, Kaine shouted aloud so that his gruff voice echoed around the room.

"I'm going out to meet the Minellas! Don't wait up!" When no response came, he grinned and stepped out, shutting the large red oak doors behind him.

As soon as he was outside, two bodyguards approached Kaine and stood on both sides of him. Kaine glanced at them as he waited for one of the luxurious cars to drive before him. He even started a small friendly conversation with his bodyguards until the vehicle arrived. Once he and his two bodyguards got inside, Kaine told the driver his destination and they all sped off.
Natalie sent an email to Kaine's laptop. " Mr. St. Luce, I've done some thinking and I think that the asshole who killed my brother is likely an outsider, but may have once been involved with at least one of our families at some point. I believe that they're a native and would be spending time in shady places in parts of our territories we don't pay much attention to. Someone like this is bound to brag about killing a boss so I think that if we each send a spy to a bar or something in our territories that might be under the radar enough that this please forgive my language, fucker might frequent. Let me know what you think. - Natalie Minella.
