Firenwoerc paced in his room, muttering under his breath to himself. He had been in the facility for a couple of months now, but he was already causing trouble. Whenever someone touched him physically he would start to panic and sometimes attack. At the moment however, he was confined to his room because he had broken a guard's arm after they tried to grab his shoulder to bring him somewhere.
Frustration was evident in the man's facial expression as he kept muttering to himself, kicking the chair as he walked. He didn't understand what he had done wrong, thinking it had simply been self defense.

She knocks on his door as he was her patient. She already knew how upset he was and was prepared for anything. "Firenwoerc? It's me Alyson." She says through the door. "May I come in? I just want to talk." She says calmly.
Firenwoerc snapped his head up as he heard the knock, thinking for a moment before he spoke, "You can come in." He stepped away from the door, stopping his pacing as he watched.
She walks in with her hands outs. The only thing in them are a clipboard and a pen. "Thank you. So Firenwoerc, how are you feeling?" She asks while she stands there not wanting to press any buttons She wasnt supposed to.
Firenwoerc sighed, "Um.... I guess.... confused, would be the right word....?" He grumbled slightly, "Why would.... why would I be locked up, when I acted in self defense....?" He looked at her with a raised brow
"If I'm being honest, I agree with you. Self defense should not get you punished. However you broke his arm. So the higher ups overlooked the self defense part. I apologize you have to be stuck here." She bows a little. "Are you hurt anywhere?" She asks as she remains in the same spot. She wasnt scared, just being respectful.
“I broke his arm?” Firenweorc looked at her with a slightly confused expression. He then thought for a moment before shaking his head “My shoulder hurts.... I think I’m fine though......”
"I know you dont like being touched, but may I look at your shoulder? I'd rather be safe than sorry." She says calmly. "You can refuse of course but I feel it will benefit us both if we work together on this." She says with a small smile.
Firenweorc shook his head, “No, I would have to take my shirt off for that.” He grumbled, turning around to sit down, but as he did there was some blood on the back of his shirt. Firenweorc was known for being difficult when it came to anything that had to do with touching or being unclothed
"Well I guess it's fine if you bleed out then." She lightly chuckles. "Please, I only want to help. On top of that I will not touch anywhere else but your shoulder and we can put a blanket over your stomach and other shoulder. Does that sound doable?" She asks as she again does not move, yet she looked relaxed almost.
Firenweorc thought for a long time. “Don’t look for a moment.....” He grumbled slightly, putting the blanket around himself before slowly taking off his shirt. He looked extremely uncomfortable, keeping the blanket tight around himself. There were evident scars across the visible parts of his body. They had messed up when sedating him earlier and he had a small wound from it
She closes her eyes and turns to face the wall. "May I look now?" She says and turns when he says it was okay. She walks over keeping her eyes on his eyes. "Okay, I'm going to touch your shoulder gently okay? If it hurts, it's only because of the wound." She says as she then moves her gaze down to his shoulder. "I see, and easy fix... a stupid mistake of our guards though." She says with a bit of irritation. "Alright, I'm going to use some hydrogen peroxide to clean it out. It may sting for a minute but it shouldnt hurt. Are you ready?" She asks and shows him the bottle so there is no surprises.
Firenweorc nodded “You can look now.” He watched her a lot closer now, and once she said this, he nodded slightly and only said one word quietly. “Careful.” A nod of agreement was given at the comment of the mistake while he used his hand to move his hair out of the way for her to see it better. “Peroxide..... I.... I’m ready.....” He looked at the bottle with a sigh
"Really itll just make a fizzy sound, so I suppose I should warn you more of that than pain. There is little to no pain." She says as she pours some on a cloth and gently places it on the wound. It makes a fizzy sound which cleans it out. She then wipes it off and pulls out a bandage and a wrap. "Would you like just a bandage or for me to wrap it?" She asks softly as she also pulls out some ointment. "And this will help it heal." She says softly.
Firenweorc nodded, flinching from the touch but staying relatively still. “Bandage..... I’m not removing the blanket.” He stated a little coldly, as if expecting her to take a chance to attack while he had his back fo her. Giving a soft nod of understanding, he’d flinch heavily with every touch, trying not to recoil back. “......Why..... Why help me.....?” He asked with a suspicious look on his face as he looked back at her.
She nods in understanding. "Then I better make sure this gets put on well enough to stay." She says softly as she places it on carefully. "Why? Well why not? I find it better to heal someone than to hurt." She says matter of factly as she looks up at him.
Firenweorc flinched again before looking confused, “People like to hurt though..... do you like to heal people then....? Or... Or do you like both?” He questioned, genuinely curious but not quite getting it at the same time. There was no possible way this was the truth, was it?. ’Shes tricking you.... Only trying to get in your head and make you hurt......’
"Well I really don't like hurting people. Sometimes, I have to though in order to make them feel better. I am a doctor. However, like I did with you, I tell them if I'm about to hurt them." She says as her eyes held confidence in her response. "I dont like hurting people to answer your question." She answers honestly. "And my bluntness hurts people... but I dont mean to hurt others by speaking my mind." She says as she finishes the bandage and looks back up at him and moves her head back a little.
Firenweorc watched her with an emotionless gaze as he thought of her response. “......I see..... I... I don’t mean to hurt people either...... only... I only want them to get away....” He mumbled slightly at the end before he asked again, prompted by something he thought he heard whispered, “By hurting to make someone feel better, is that why so many people I’ve seen refuse treatment? I mean when my brother was ill he refused to go to the doctor at all....” He had never mentioned his brother before
"Well I dont know what your brother had. Each treatment should be fit for each person. Unfortunately, some doctors do not care about the patient much and choose the quickest and sometimes most painful option... it makes me sick quite honestly." She says as she hands him his shirt and turns away but continues talking. "Sometimes we fear the treatment and make it more painful in our minds. So when people who really want to help come along, people refuse because they built up a barrier and fear that they will be hurt again." She says with a sigh. She turns back around when he finishes. "Your brother was ill? That must have been rough huh?" She asks softly.
