Safiya sat on the floor of her room, just staring at the wall. "Elias, you there?" She asked, her voice echoing around the lonely room. She was incredibly bored. "I'm here, Saf. We're in this together," she heard the familiar voice of her one and only friend. The friend people said she was crazy for hearing. "I don't want us to be here at all," she murmered. She heard Elias agree, and sighed. The other vooces chimed in, created a cacophony in her mind. She winced, and put a hand to her head. "Quiet down!" She practically shrieked. Amd a few went away, but the other only got louder. "Elias, make them stop," she whimpered. "Make it all stop."

Nightfrost heard Safiya as she was walking by, and gently knocked on the door, “Miss, are you alright?” She asked in a gentle tone through the door, wondering if she should grab some medication for the patient. Though not wanting to give her medication outside of the windows allowed, she grabbed a weighted blanket off the cart nearby, hoping if she were to be allowed in then it could help Safiya feel safer. “May I come in?”

Safiya heard a knocking on her door, to which all of the voices sje was hearing whispered about. She whinpered again, when she heard a voice from the other side of the door. "Miss, are you all right?" A female voice questioned. 'I will be if you'll all SHUT UP,' she screamed in her mind, to no avail. After a few moments, the nurse, or doctor or whoever asked another question. "May I come in?" Safiya pondered this for a moment. Maybe she could help. Maybe she knew how to quiet the disembodied voices that had invaded her mind. "Yes, you can!" Safiya yelled. After all, she needed to be heard over the all of the noise those voices were making.
