Once again Donovan was being transported somewhere new, he had grown tired of the constant moving but if he heard correctly this would be the last time. Since the fire he had been moved from hospitals to nicely named orphanages and then constantly cycled through the foster system. He never settled or fit in anywhere he was placed, he honestly was bored in all of them.

Donovan didn't want family, he felt nothing towards the loss of his own except his brother. He greatly missed him but most mentions or work trying to make him process any grief was usually met with violence. Donovan also didn't care to be treated or made to feel like he had to mourn his injuries, feel like he was inferior in any way. He was still able to read, study and learn when he was able, he was actually quite docile when allowed to do so.

Donovan turned his eyes from blankly staring at the headrest in front of him and turned to look out the window at the looming structure, sighing heavily as he sank back into the seat. He tucked his face back under the hood of his tattered robe, once again he was going to have to endure others telling him what was wrong with him and trying to convince him that it was truth. Donovan merely shook his head a little as the car parked out front.

Two representatives stepped out of the car and brought Donovan out, his hands in soft restraints but he didn't offer any resistance as he was escorted inside. The representatives were none to happy with Donovan since he refused to change, continuing to where his ratty stained robe and pants but refusing shoes. Donovan always seemed to refuse shoes, his bare feet barely making any noise as he walked inside. He was actually a little curious of this new place though his stoic expression gave none of that away as his eyes looked around.
Ella had been walking the halls that day. Before being put into this asylum she had been pretty sure she was completely sane but its walls and the whole environment was starting to actually mess with her mind. She missed her brother, her cat, her life, her freedom. It wasn't like she was restrained all day, it was quite the opposite actually. She got to walk around all day until the patients were sent back into their rooms and she was thankful for that but she still felt...trapped.

Muttering something to herself the young blue haired woman had ended up getting to the foyer. Of course she was behind the doors that kept the patients from freely going out of the facility but her lapis lazuli gaze was fixed on the main doors as if she was trying to decide wether or not to make a crazy attempt to escape the place. While she was still deep in thought she heard a vehicle parking at the front and soon the gates opened and they brought in a new patient.

Ella looked at him up and down. This one truly looked dangerous. He was restrained even though he wasn't really struggling or anything but the ratty robe gave him a rather creepy look. She was no one to speak about odd looks though, the blue dyed hair, the big golden cross earrings and the matching silver pendant didn't give her off as a very regular person either. She watched the new patient carefully and then her eyes darted back to the doors.

Freedom was so damn close... if only she had the guts to try and escape... but no, that was a bad idea, her best chance was proving her sanity and be lawfully released. Her gaze slowly lowered to the floor and she took a deep breath deciding to try and give this newcomer a kind welcome not seeing any doctors around. "Uh... hi... My name is Ella..." She greeted him once the security guards would get him into the place. "Welcome to the nuthouse." She did her best to give him a smile that came out bitterly.
(Hello! I apologize for the wait, but I've added your character to the files and I'll be assigning you a doctor once I write this post :) Let me know if you have any questions or concerns!

It was an oddly quiet day at Vesania Asylum. Only one or two patients would be in the foyer when Donovan arrived, and the nurse at the reception desk seemed bored out of her mind as she filled out papers on the computer in front of her. One of the patients looked up at Donovan with a curious look before chuckling and looking back at the other they were talking to.

Another nurse entered the foyer, one with a clipboard in hand. In a uniform with her long hair tied back into a ponytail, she looked clean and organized. She saw a man waiting with representatives and walked over.

With a soft, friendly smile, she greeted them, "Hello, welcome to Vesania. And hello Ella, it's good to see you again." She checked her clipboard for a second for new any incoming patients, "Are you Donovan?"
Donovan was stood between the two representatives as they care of the paperwork to turn him over to the asylum, they almost couldn't wait to be rid of him. The scarred man stood with back straight, his feet flat against the floor but his head was bowed forward and he just stared from beneath his brow. A cold blank stare that was leveled on the the nurse behind the desk but he just curled his lip slightly before raising his head and stood almost normally.

His eyes started to drift around the foyer, pausing to watch a few of the people though he seemed to almost study those he watched. Donovan blinked and slowly turned his head towards Ella, his pale grey eyes staring through the remaining strands of almost white hair. He didn't return the smile, he actually tilted his head slightly at the expression though his hardly changed. "Donovan." He finally answered in a deep gravelly voice after remaining silent a bit to long. "You were watching the door, planning on running." He said before he turned his eyes back to the door. "Is that because you want freedom or because you don't believe you should be here?"

Donovan's attention turned away to the woman with the clipboard, his posture straightening as he looked over her. "Yes." He answered as he locked his eyes onto hers as his representatives finished the paperwork and quickly stepped back towards the doors, more than thankful to be rid of him.
Donovan's cold gaze sent shivers up the young woman's spine but she controlled herself. She had been welcome into the asylum by a kind face and she had decided to do the same for him, so she was on her best behavior. Not that she had a 'bad behavior' mood though, Ella was a rather good girl that didn't give trouble but now she struggled to keep a smile on her face.

This smile however was quick to fade the moment Donovan read her so quickly. Was she that much of an open book? Nervously she moved one hand up to brush a lock of her hair behind her ear causing her big earrings to chime softly. The truth was it was a little bit of both. Ella missed her freedom and she didn't believe she should be in an asylum at all so Donovan couldn't be less mistaken. "I-I uh..." She stopped herself before answering as she saw Nightfrost approaching.

If the staff found out that she had been actually thinking about escaping she could get in trouble, but she wasn't either going to lie and say that she felt like this place was somehow helping her. Swallowing a little hard she turned around to give Nightfrost a light smile and stepped back seeing that she was probably going to take care of Donovan's reception but not going too far from them either. "It's nice to see you too." She said to the kind nurse with a nod of her head choosing not to respond to Donovan's question just yet.... maybe somewhere else with less people around....
“Good, welcome to Vesania. You’re on my list of newcomers.” She kept her soft smile as she looked back into his eyes, her own holding a look of curiosity and slight tiredness. “I’ll be the one showing you around today, or I can take you straight to your room. Whichever you prefer. And if Ella here is wishes to, she can join us on the tour.” Offering this, she hoped it would give Donovan a chance of interacting, not realizing the conversation that had happened prior to her arrival.

“Mr Vittorio, do you have any questions for me so far, or anything you’d like to say? I’d be happy to answer.” Asking this, she put a quick note on her clipboard saying Donovan was now at Vesania and they no longer needed to look for his arrival.
Donovan's eyes slid back over to Ella, his stare almost seeming to look through her. He watched the change in her from his question, mentally noted the hesitation and slight fear of those around knowing what he had seen. "I don't mind if you follow. " He said after a long quite moment before he turned his attention back to Nightfrost.

"I want to see this facility." Donovan answered though his voice remained monotone but his cold analyzing stare now locked onto her as he took a few steps forward, he truthfully didn't care about the personal space of others. "And will I be allowed books and something to write with?" Donovan asked flatly, tilting his head slightly to the side as he waited for an answer. He had a rather nasty few encounters in his past of stabbing others with pens and pencils while he was in the foster system but if they had just left him be none of it would have happened.
Ella could perfectly feel Donovan's gaze piercing through her. Those cold grey eyes though seemed to have a lot of stories to tell and his tone, so monochrome, showed that this kid had gone through hell and back. So Ella decided she'd stick around just in case he would like to use some company. Between these walls that was her bigger problem, the loneliness.

With a nod of her head and a gentle smile Ella proceeded to follow Nightfrost and Donovan down the corridors. This time she stayed quiet occasionally pecking at the newcomer and letting Nightfrost respond to his questions. Her hand slowly moved to play with a lock of her blue hair distractedly but as they walked deeper into the building her head turned taking one last look at the doors.... Closing her eyes she convinced herself that someday soon she'd be able to cross those doors as a free woman.
Nightfrost nodded, "Yes, you will be allowed writing materials; with supervision though, as per regulation. Once we can assess that it's okay, then you won't need supervision with the materials, but they will need to stay in your room." She explained.

Another nurse ran up and whispered to Night, but not very well so it was easily heard, "They need you in the medical ward immediately Miss Night, a patient was stabbed in the eye with a plastic fork."

With a soft frown, she nodded before looking at the two, "I'm truly sorry but I have to go. This nurse here will give you a tour with Ella." She then ran off.

The nurse smiled, "I'm sorry about that, Night was specifically requested to help. Anyway, lets get on with the tour."

The nurse showed him everything; The common room, the cafeteria, the bathrooms, where each activity was, the outdoor areas, and she showed him the entrance to the basement as well but explained only employees could go down there and that the basement was locked. She also explained what activities they had such as an art room, a music room, a mini library, some sports such as basketball, and a few others. She then showed him where his room was.
Donovan gave a Nightfrost a small nod, he would be allowed the materials he wanted but would have to be supervised until he earned the ability not to be. It was a simple system but effective and one he could easily work within.

His eyes slid over and watched Ella take a last look at the main doors, mentally noting the bit of hesitation, the want and almost sadness as they walked further away from them. Donovan's attention snapped back as the other nurse ran up, titling his head as he listened to none to well concealed whisper. He watched Nightfrost leave before slowly turning his eyes back to the new nurse, his cold stare focused on her.

Donovan followed the nurse to most rooms on the tour though he refused to step outside. He wasn't to keen on the louder areas like the common room but he almost abandoned the tour all together upon learning of the mini library. Donovan continued to follow the nurse and stay in step with Ella as he was led up to what was now his room, slowly stepping away from the pair to step inside. It was a welcomed thing, something that was his though his expression and posture barely changed.
When the second nurse approached and whispered to Nightfrost loud enough for the two patients to hear, Ella slightly winced. A fork in the eye? Sometimes she tended to forget what kind of people were around her, that most of the people were actually insane and had a good reason to be locked up in there, which was also starting to make her question her own sanity.

Ella assisted quietly to the tour to a building she had already explored and seen a hundred times. She hadn't been in this place for that long but the young woman was used to move from place to place in her day to day life and now all she could do was wander around the asylum. When they finally arrived toDonovan's room Ella memorized the number and then gave him a gentle smile from the door, not stepping into the room to respect his privacy.

Once the nurse left Ella moved one hand to run her fingers through her wavy blue hair. "Well... " She said softly as she twirled a lock of her hair around her finger. This was not meant to be some kind of flirty gesture, she just needed to keep her hands busy. "I'll leave you to 'make yourself at home'. " She said kindly. "My room is three rooms from yours, feel free to visit me whenever." She nodded. "I'll come back to check on you in a few hours, it's not like there's much to do here so..." She cleared her throat softly. " See you later." She smiled waving at him before walking off back to her room. While she was genuinely nice, for someone as observant as Donovan the sadness behind her eyes wasn't hard to witness.

//If you start a new thread in the rooms I'll go visit you there ^^ Or you can visit me in my room or meet in the common areas, either way is good if you want to continue the rp! //
((Sounds good, thank you!))
