I'm Shinyrainbowlithogra! My real name is unknown to the people here, but that's fine. You can call me Shiny or Rainbow or SRL or even Lithogra-chan, although personally I think that last one would be a little weird. Anyway. I'll most likely be playing as a magical girl account for a lot of the time that I'm in here, so you can generally address me by that name, too, if you want. Whatever works, pretty much.
I like superheroes, cool and warm colors, neutral palettes, art, although I don't practise it a whole lot, and reading!!! Because that's fun and knowledge is cool. I also like manga, comics, visual novels, that sort of thing. Anime. Tea. Coffee, every now and then... I have a bit of a sweet tooth but I also love vegetables and stuff.
I really like cute food pictures, so you might see some of those from me sometime.
My favorite books, off the top of my head, are T.H. White's The Sword In The Stone, Tolkien's The Lord of The Rings Trilogy (I haven't read The Silmarillion yet! Give me a break, it's really complicated material!), The Moorchild (Eloise McGraw), A String in The Harp (Nancy Bond), The Sea of Trolls (Nancy Farmer), The House of The Scorpion (also Nancy Farmer), The Earthsea Cycle (Ursula K. LeGuin) annnnd... Um... Ovid's Metamorphoses? By Ovid, translated by Arthur Golding? The introduction is very good, too... By John Frederick Nims... Hahaha...
Shakespeare is also great, of course. And there are tons and tons of other books which I've read and loved (Goodnight, Mister Tom; The Little Prince; A Little Princess; The Secret Garden; The Adventures of Tom Sawyer; Huckleberry Finn; Narnia Chronicles; some of The Wrinkle In Time books; Robin Hood; a great deal of mystery stories...) But there are too many to list. Oops. Also a lot of them are children's stories, in a technical sense; but so are a lot of good stories, so I don't much care about that... I've read several short-story anthologies, and a pretty decent amount of poetry. As you can see, most of the ones I listed are fantasy books; I even forgot to mention a couple! Oh well! There are so many!
Anyway, it seems a little bit weird to just list a bunch of books in my introduction, but that means your introduction is way less likely to seem weird now, right? Hahahahaha.
Plus, books are important to me! I carry the stories of each character somewhere deep, deep down, or even close to the surface. And I think I can pretty well assume they have an affect on my psyche. So, if my roleplaying style seems a little wacky, it might be because I've read lots and lots of books and compiled characteristics from all sorts of characters into a Grande Blob of sorts. Hee hee hee. Who knows, maybe you do the same thing! Whatever the case, I hope you'll have a good time here, and I encourage you to be creative, adhere to the rules, and make something great or good or both out of your character(s)!
