Creatures

  • Humans

    Split into two groups.
    •Those who have some innate magic ability, usually called Mages or Wizards
    •Those who do not possess any innate magic ability, they are less common than mages

  • Dragons

    Large, formidable creatures who are often reptilian in nature. Most are reds and browns and breath fire or magma. Water and ice dragons are much rarer and really not seen by the islands. Air dragons who resemble birds more than reptiles are rumored but largely thought to be myth.

  • Demons

    Most low level demons lack a true form and exist only as a vaguely shaped shadows. Stronger ones take on more human appearances but are still considered low level threats on their own. They travel in large groups and can overwhelm even the strongest fighter.

  • Angels

    Their true form is much like a low level demons, featureless but made of light instead of shadow. They take on human forms to better connect with humans but still maintain a condescending superiority.

  • Gods

    They closely resemble humans but hundreds of feet tall. There are 6 total and they’re pretty much even in power and locked in a stale power struggle. The 6 are
    •Fire
    •Water
    •Air
    •Earth
    •Lightning
    •Ice

  • Faries

    Only rumors at this point. So many conflicting stories that no one is sure what the truth is. Commonly used in folktales and stories of all kinds.

  • Mermaids

    Thought to be extinct due to pollution in the oceans. There are many fisherman tales about them and some wonder if they’re not really extinct but instead, hiding.

  • Harpies

    Human like creatures with bird traits. Thought to be the result of magic gone wrong or even a widespread curse.
