Margo was...a sight. Every bit of her frame vibrated with barley tempered excitement. A job well done coupled with a new discovery always did that to her. Her emotions were just so big, so all consuming that she couldn’t possibly keep them from showing on the outside.
Her entire being was in stark contrast to the adventurer bar she often frequented. Most people stuck to their own groups and boring chatter but Margo bounded over to the request board and issued a bubbly ‘hello’ to everyone she knew the name of, and everyone she didn’t. Up until a certain request caught her eye and her demeanor fell almost immediately. It has a weird energy that the girl just couldn’t ignore.
“Hm I should probably keep an eye on this.”
With that girl leaves as quickly as she’d come and with a much more somber tone as well.

Rea was, for lack of a better word, furious. Every ounce of her energy was sapped trying to stay calm in the face of her king and superior officers. She was to go on a mysterious quest, collect some rare items and bring whatever the poster end goal was to her majesty.
Everyone else in the room praised her and spoke of the jobs importance but she couldn’t help but feel, discarded. While her peers were tasked with training the incoming dragons or protecting the harbor. She got to go on a wild goose chase with a bunch of lawless mage’s but even so she was in no place to argue with her lady. So she only grit her teeth and bowed.

Dr Eliestia Vilimore stared at the piece of paper as the rain pitter pattered on the metal rooves of the Tomlin's house. The coughs of the father of the house and the young children echoed once again. Keeping their mask on they turned on their foot and walked inside to check what medicine could be made from her supplies.

Margo finds herself at the center of solata with even less ease then usual. Maybe it was the flyer burning a hole in her pocket or the implications of this mission, but she was even jumpier than usual. Though If the people of solata noticed they didn’t say anything, to consumed in their militaristic lives.
She shuffles next to Eliestia in a kinda of creepy but totally well meaning way.
“You’re not from around here, are you?”

Rea finds herself at the square just as quickly as the other two. Instead of talking to them right away, she decides to sit back and collect information. She tried to assure herself that’s all it was. Not because of her pounding heart or clammy hands. Because soldiers, especially ones hand picked for a mission by the queen didn’t get anxious.
Oh who was she kidding. She started a slow and choppy pace towards the out of place pair, stopping and starting arbitrarily. If anyone of importance had been watching, they’d question her sanity for sure.
Eliestia flinched as to notice the bubbly girl now right beside them. Elestia had hoped that they wouldn't stand out so much as to have someone ask, but the multiple layers didn't match those of this kingdom. Sighing, they couldn't even get upset with the question. Now taking the time to soak in this...girl, Elestia blinked slowly
"No, I'm not," they replied in a monotone and tired voice from the travel. Taking off their wide rimmed hat and putting it under their arm Eliestia asked, "and you would be?" Putting one of their bags down as to get rid of any extra pain in their wrists, Eliestia's eyes drifted towards the blonde woman walking towards them.

She nods along with Eliestia “that makes sense. You look a little too...undertaker-ish for solata. Not that I have room to talk. I’m Margo.” She pauses for a breath and then starts again, her tone even peppier than before. “And I am on a fantastical quest. Well it’s less like I’m on it and more like I’m making sure it’s not actually for evil.”
She pauses “I’m betting we’re on the same adventure. I’d pull the flyer out but it’s either still on the boat I took here or buried in there.” She nods down towards her haphazard bags. “I can carry yours too if you want. I used to go on a lot more group jobs and I was always the pack mule. So I’m used to it” Margo smiles at the girl, her attention yet to drift to The approaching blonde.

The doctor's eyes narrowed. "I don't take them, I heal them..."
"I bought some equipment and some extra clothing, perhaps packing more for survival would have been better. Don't you think?" Eliestia chuckled. "I am Dr. Eliestia Vilimore, I am from Luenem."
The girl had a nice face, almost one you could true right away. But looks sounded close to lie...

“You know what? I like you. You seem really sweet but also like you’ve covered up a murder in the past or something.” Her already impossibly friendly grin only grows more so “were going to be friends, I can feel it in the air. That and the horrible awkwardness of that stalker.”
Margo nods towards the aforementioned girl. “Now she’s seriously freaky.”

“I’m not freaky! I was just making sure you were the right people.” Rea carries only a military issues rucksack, which she glared as Margo eyes with suspicion. If she wasn’t so paranoid she would’ve seen it for what it truly was. Curiosity.
“I’m Rea. I’m part of the royal army of Solata, I’m here to collect whatever lays at the end of the quest for my queen and I don’t intend to be friends with you” she frowns tentatively at Eliestia “or smiles over here”
A few moments of silence went by.
"Dear, she is quite the sight." Eliestia walked around Rea, like a vulture. "You have the paranoia of a rat and the mind of an eagle." The doctor stared at her arms and legs for a moment before continuing. "And the body of a soldier." Eliestia stopped to stand beside Margo again, intertwining her fingers together. "Now you didn't like that, did you?" Eliestia's eyes narrowed. "Then do not fail to remember your manners, guard."

“Might I remind you that you’re in my kingdom and not whatever backwater town you rose out of” her words have no real bite, like she couldn’t even pretend to really believe what she said. “In any case we should probably stop standing around, impeding foot traffic.”
Rea hums quietly “let’s start on the list so we can finish it quickly and we can all go back to our lives. I’m sure there’s a sideshow or something, missing the two of you.”

“Well ok. Since we’re in the kingdom of dragons why don’t you work some of that army magic and get us a fang. Then I know where to get most of this other stuff...or at least I have a general idea.” She moves to stand parallel to the pair.
“This could be fun and transformative if you let it... or it could be miserable and possibly psyche breaking. You should probably figure out which you want it to be before something crazy inevitable happens” Margo picks up her discarded stuff and begins walking towards the towering castles back. “Usually the ‘stables’ are in the back right?”
Eliestia shuddered, she never liked horses. The idea of it running and you falling. It's face and those eyes.
Eliestia picked up their bag and followed. Her thoughts on the blonde were distasteful to say the least. Why would she even bother with her if they'd get nowhere? "Margo, are we riding the horses?" They asked, a slight twin of fear in their voice. "If so can we not? It could be most impractical..." Their debating skills were not the best in this moment...

Margo giggles in a halfway sound between a goat and twinkling bells...honestly even weirder then it sounds. “Don’t worry. It’s not the horses we’re after. It’s the dragons, last time I was here the off duty ones lived back here too.”
“Hopefully they still do. Honestly I haven’t been here in awhile ever since that bounty.” She gives a curious glance to Rea “is that still a thing?”

“You’re scared of horses?” Rea snickers quietly “that’s pretty embarrassing and here I thought you were all cool and mysterious.” She walks next to Margo and scoffs “the dragons still hang out here but I think your bounty’s been pushed aside for...actual criminals.”
The girl pushed open the gate and beckons the other girls through. “Let me do the talking. They’re not exactly friendly to outsiders” she pauses and continues under her breath “or insiders.”
"They literally kill people more than trolls," Eliestia muttered before continuing, "Are you speaking of people?"
The doctor changed her tone to that of a fairy. "You thought I was cool?" They cooed at the solider.
"Maybe you like backwater townfolk? They do attract tragically driven people... you do seem like you've had something tragic happen to you, a dead mother...father...dead lover." Eliestia shrugged. They weren't going to take these comments lightly. As much as she would prefer herself to let things go she was just as aggressive as her mother and just as passive aggressive as her father. She got into many fights at her first school from her comments - but they never learnt. Maybe it was that her and the blonde were so similar that made her need to argue, sneer.

Rea shrugs “maybe but unlike you I don’t feel the need to make my life’s tragedies my whole being. At some point we all have to get over it, don’t you think?” She hums and stops in front of a small group of dragons. They all looks pretty similar with hardened scales and barely healed over scars.
“Hello..guys. I don’t know if you remember me but-“ she’s cut off by the smallest of the dragons with a pointed look “um I uh” and just like that her incredible amounts of anxiety return like a freight train to the face.
