(My Original Setting) The Mountains
Note: It's a more temperate and green area than the mountains in the books, and is based on the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Dangers: bears, bobcats, and long falls from cliffs. The river that runs through the valley, as well as the waterfall at its northernmost point, are also dangerous.
MistClan Territory: ranges from the near peak of the mountain to the base of the valley, this area is covered in deciduous trees such as oak and aspen. As its name implies, it is covered in almost constant fog due to the high altitude. The camp is based near the top of the mountain, in a divot in the ground where the dirt breaks up int stone. A cliff face makes up one barrier of the camp and ferns and thorns make up the rest. The main prey here is mice and squirrels, as well as birds and the occasional rabbit. East border is with CliffClan, south border is OakClan, all other borders are with unclaimed territory.
CliffClan Territory: large cliff faces and rocky areas make up this area. The cats here must be well-adjusted to narrow passageways and steep hills. There is little to no foliage here, except for weeds and herbs that grow in the cracks between rocks. The patch of ground by the river is the only bit of green in this area, and the cats that live here consider it a safe zone. The prey here is mostly voles and mice. They are bordered at the west by MistClan and to the south by IsletClan.
OakClan Territory: thick forest located in the valley by the river. Rocks and boulders dot the landscape, making for perfect cover and places for prey to live. As the name entails, the main tree species here is oak, but other trees native to the mountains grow here as well. The main prey here is fish from the river and mice, squirrels, voles, and birds from the forest. They are bordered at the north by MistClan and to the east by IsletClan.
IsletClan Territory: a strip of land in the center of the river, this Clan's territory makes up both the river and its banks, giving them plenty of opportunity to both swim and hunt. The camp is occasionally threatened by flooded water, but they have a backup camp in the forest near the OakClan border. The main prey is voles and fish, though the occasional waterbird finds its way to their fresh-kill pile. They are bordered to the north by CliffClan and to the west by OakClan.

The Lake
ThunderClan Territory: heavily wooded area with a mixture of oak, aspen, birch, and other deciduous trees. The foliage is thick, made up of ferns, brambles, and bushes. It borders the lake on one side and has a stream running along the eastern border. The camp is an abandoned quarry with high walls and surrounded by a barrier of thorns. Common prey items are mice, squirrels, and birds. Sometimes a rabbit will make its way across the border--a real treat! ShadowClan borders them at the west and WindClan borders them at the east.
WindClan Territory: rolling hills and peaty earth make for a rather windblown experience, but that's just the way WindClan cats like it. There are little to no trees and foliage, and what little cover there is is made up of tall grass and heather. A stream makes up the western border and the southern border of the territory is the lake. The camp is made in a large dip in the ground and is open to the sky. Scraggly bushes dot the area, and this is where the main prey animal makes its dens: rabbits. Other prey animals include large birds and the occasional squirrel.
ShadowClan Territory: thick, dark forests and springy pine-needle laden earth make up ShadowClan's home. The main trees here are evergreens, but the occasional oak or birch pops up as a harsh contrast to its surroundings. Ferns and other cover are hard to come by here, meaning ShadowClan cats have to be crafty and sneaky when hunting prey. The camp is built in an unusual cluster of bushes at the center of the territory. The lake lies to the southeast of the camp, and they border ThunderClan at the east and RiveClan at the southwest.
RiverClan Territory: a mixture of wide plains and sparse forest, all intermingled with streams and ponds. The lake is their main source of food and it makes up their northern border. The camp is stationed in a fork in the river and is surrounded by reeds and cattails. The main prey here is fish, but they catch the occasional mouse or large bird as well. They border ShadowClan to the northwest and WindClan to the east.
