Hashtags

  • RPR's group search function is very rudimentary, and unfortunately it's also case-sensitive. However, we've devised a way to organize RPs with "tags", using the hashtag # symbol.

    In the opening post of an RP thread, feel free to include any relevant tags. These must be formatted all in lower case, and preceded by a #. That way, when you search using the # symbol, you will only find results that have the tag itself, and not miscellaneous pages that reference a name or keyward.

    Tags to Use:
    Factions Involved: #fm #ug #square #bandito #dove #lacorona
    Subjects: #flashback #flares #thrillervirus #factionswap #au
    Types: #arp* #wrp* #warp*

    Using the search function, if you search 'cecille' as-is, you'll pick up all the posts with the hashtag, plus any post which has 'cecille' typed all in lowercase. If you search using the hash: '#cecille', all lower-case, you'll only find posts with the tags.
  • Linking to Hashtags:

    Tag results can also be directly linked to, which isn't required in any capacity and might be a little confusing. But it's detailed below, for those who would like to do so on their posts. Some example tag-links have also been included for people to copy-paste to include in their RPs.

    The "%23" here represents the #, followed by the keyword (all lowercase).
