Valentines, Galentines, a time to celebrate friendship or romance, either way it’s also the perfect time for the BANDITO’S BAG OF SHENANIGANS. 💚💚
The Banditos had been planning this for weeks, carefully selecting vic--contestants, and prepping the nets required to catch them. All just to set up Steppers on romantic, candle-lit dates with their Best Match (as determined by the Banditos themselves—the best matchmakers around!). Steppers will be provided with a light meal and some wine (if they like), dined on by a nicely-dressed bladed ‘dito, in an unknown warehouse.
On the OOC side of things, you’re free to sign up any of your characters to be abducted. By signing up, you consent to your character losing their scuffle with a ‘dito and being unceremoniously sacked and carried off to an Unknown Location (they can also just immediately surrender to Shenanigans, whatever fits!). As much as we’d like to see their Valiant Battle, this is being done for Ease of RP (and to get you to your Ships faster). ICly, the abductions happened ‘at random’.
Your character will be paired up with another in a fancy little diner setting, complete with a bandito waiter. If they play nice and enjoy their date (no expectations! But we hope you enjoy the night, and make a friend—maybe more?), they’ll be free to go. Cross-faction, same-faction, no-faction... Well, you’re stuck with them for now. Those who kick up a fuss will probably get squirted with a watergun full of paint. It’s only like an hour, tops. How bad could it be? Engage in some smalltalk, ask some questions...
Individual dates will be done in individual threads, with your character and their date. Plus an assigned bandito to jump in only if needed. The deadline to finish your scene will be about two weeks, but if the event’s going well, the deadline might be extended. If all goes well, you can expand your character’s Relationships with a new contact!
Our Merry Band of Bandito Matchmakers will include: Marc, Neeva, Takeo, Spear, Eudi, Benson, Ghost (against his will), and Frank.

It's February 14th, and you have big plans to meet up with your date/wallow with a tub of icecream because you have no date/get on with your day as if it were any other, when suddenly--a bandito kidnaps you! Or maybe they just tried their best to, and feeling a little bad, you decided to go along with it... If you weren't outright bribed or hypnotized into following along.
Either way, you find yourself seated at a table across from someone you're at least reasonably sure you've never set eyes upon before. Despite being in... what appears to be an abandoned warehouse, the place and table is elegantly decked out, a nice table spread, a delicious entrée already prepared, and a waiter (most likely on rollerblades) ready to assist and answer questions, dressed up in some silly cupid outfit. You're nicely persuaded against leaving--at least stay until desert! And you're given a lovely introduction to your date.
In the interest of saving time, the RP will open on your character being sat at the table with their date (how they got there is up to you).

Each pair will be assigned a thread. You've got two weeks (not Set In Stone, depending on availability!) to rp. You'll each have a 'dito waiter; they're not part of the Posting Order, and is just there to chime in where needed, so no need to wait on them!
Enjoy your meal, have a pleasant conversation, or plot together how to escape your predicament the moment your 'dito waiter has their back turned. Or, y'know, stay and get drunk.

Place your bets, and chatter about how things are going over mobile. As waiters, you don't need to be active participants in threads--unless you want to! Pop in to serve food, or top up wine; if conversation is dragging, sliiiiide in with helpful que-cards of "Top Ten Questions to Ask Your Blind Date". Or just... shenanigans!
The end of the event will be as Dizzying as the beginning, the Banditos not-so-politely kicking people out.
