The screen showed a hooded man with a black bandana and sunglasses sitting behind a desk. None of his facial features were visible and he looked quite eerie. Underneath him, a red bar with white letters reading
"EMERGENCY BROADCAST"
flashed on the screen.
"People, I call upon you to open your eyes. The government does not want you to know this but they are hiding bodies. Hundreds piling up, their flesh rotting. They don't want you to know this, I tried to warn them but they refused to pass on the information so it is time I do it myself." The man spoke, his voice rather croaky and clearly deformed with some device so he wouldn't be recognized.
"People are sick, they do not act like themselves anymore. They're agressive... Our governments solution was to get rid of them, shoot them on the spot. Those that swore to protect us are failing us, they're lying to us. To me, to you.... I am done with their lies."
The screen flashes and a scene is shown where a man suddenly turns around after getting his shoulder tapped by a police officer. The man attacks and for a second the screen goes black, making it clear that whoever was filming dropped their camera. After that, two screams and a loud gun shot, followed by silence.
The screen flashed once more and a group of people is shown, moving along the side of a road slowly before more gunshots are heard, the people dropping down one by one.
Another black screen before the man re-appears, this time he only says two sentences.
"The void won't be silenced. I am here to tell people the truth."

EMERGENCY BROADCAST
The Void is seen on the screen, sitting behind a desk. He remains his cover.
"People, I request your attention because your government continues to lie to you. Numbers keep rising and death keeps winning because soldiers shoot everyone that poses a threat or refuses to listen. Open your eyes, they do not keep you safe."
He pauses and the screen shows footage of people, this time ordinary and panicked people getting shot by soldiers. It shows how soldiers shoot those that leave their house and those that disobey. They seem to show no sign of humanity as they slaughter people without futher thought, like brainwashed machines.
"You don't have to be a rebel to get shot. All it takes is a moment of trying to get to a loved one..."
The footage cuts to show a father, running to his child in an attempt to take the child inside. The words "I'm sorry" are heard, only once, muttered angrily. A gunshot is heard and the camera turns to the father, who collapses on his knees and cries. Another gunshot is heard and the screen turns black again.
"Do not call your doctor if you feel ill. He will never arrive and soldiers will come instead. Do not let them trick you."
The screen shows nothing but static after that

Radio silence had been the norm ever since the last message had been sent out. There had been no updates, no news. The void seemed to have vanished and disappeared. Rumor had it that he had passed away. People thought that the army or the government had managed to catch him after all. The radio station itself was abandoned as well, so was the tv station.
Both of those buildings were now empty even though people had clearly been there to look for him, given that both were left in ruins and that a lot of the equipment had been destroyed. It didn't matter, they couldn't stop him that easily and now that the new day had started and the old message had stopped playing over night, tv screens that had been stuck on static suddenly showed a clear image again.
The first thing people could see was a white background and a wooden chair in front of it. The background appeared to be a wall, showing cracks here and there and spots where brick was visible as the paint had given up in them.
Soon enough, the silence was broken and a hooded figure with a mask sat down on the chair, his arrival accompanied by his voice, which spoke in clear and near strict as well as warning tone.
"You have seen it haven't you? The truth? You've seen it with your own eyes, do you believe me now? Am I still insane?" He asked, no longer the controlled man he used to be as his voice trembled in a mixture of anger and frustration. "So many of you refused to hear me, refused to listen and a lot of those people paid with their lives. I tried to warn you, I am not the bad guy here even though I'm made out to be. I tried to tell you all what was coming but you wouldn't listen then." He added, letting out a deep sigh before he spoke again.
"Hopefully you'll listen now, all of you. If you thought we'd seen the worst of it then I'm here to tell you that it isn't over. It has only just begun. Yes, the dead are rising and walking amongst us, wreaking havoc but that's not all. Oh, how I wish it was all."
The screen changed and something else was shown, which appeared to be recorded footage from outside of town. At first, people could see buildings of other towns and cities that were either destroyed completely or left with gaping holes in it. Then, people running through the streets. Some survivors shooting others while other survivors were running from hordes of zombies that were following them.
"This isn't only going on here, it's spreading everywhere and becoming worse. But there's a difference between those places and our town. Our town is the one they gave up on, our town is the scapegoat. You might not believe me yet but if you don't, you're a fool. You'll all believe me soon, very soon." He spoke, his voice laced in a threat even if he weren't the one that was inflicting the chaos on the town.
The screen changed again and now it showed hordes on the street, slowly making it's way to an unknown location. To the ones that paid close attention, it'd be clear that those hordes were on streets leading to Clarey and that there were almost too many zombies to count. To the ones that weren't paying close attention, it became clear once the camera turned and showed where they were walking to. It appeared that the footage that was shown was taken from the sky rather than the ground, keeping whoever had been filming it safe.
"The bombs that were set off were used to lure more hordes here. More bombs were set off nearby, outside of the town to make sure that the sound of the explosions would reach far and wide. Be careful, as they'll reach our town sooner rather than later." He finished, the screen showing him once more as he made his closing statement before it would turn back to static.
"Stay safe and help each other. Stand and fight back, you must if we want to survive this." He said. "This was the Void, may hell be mild on us all."
