Mavis/Grayson
The sound of someone whistling some erie sinister tune could be heard coming from the lonely gym that sat at the South side of Clarey Town. It had been pretty quiet lately, well except for the sudden explosions, the muffled sounds of animalistic growling outside, the constant whining, and terra screams from the inside of the gym. Luckily, the gym was a decent size building, with very few windows and entrances. Making it the perfect place to hunker down in, well that is if you don't get stuck with a whole team of whinny college football players. Inside the gym, of course, the equipment most of it was pushed up against the door blocking the front entrance off. Many towels were strewn about the place, a couple of pillows and blankets here and there, and well a bunch of sweaty football players still in their weight lifting clothes laid about the place. Some huddled in a corner or behind the main counter, some hiding in the bathroom. The whistling sound echoed throughout the town, causing whatever stumbled around town to make it's way to the gym. A female sat on the roof, the only place she could find that was away from the football team and that did not smell like ass or sweat. A smirk fell across her tan chapped lips as one of the many stumblers, ran right into the door of the building, a few girlish squeaks could be heard within the building. At this point, she was mostly contiplating whether to kill the whole team of whinny college football players or to just jump off and end her misery there. (C)
You would think for a whole team of football players, they would not be as big of babies and a lot tougher then that but when the coach and the gym owner never returned they decided that leaving the gym was a bad idea and that they should just wait till the army comes to save them. That is if they ever do. "Mav you up there?" A males voice cut off the sound of the whistling, calling out to her from the rooftop entrance behind the female. Mavis glanced over her shoulder, her bright blue orbs landing on the very attractive blonde who called out to her. Only for them to traveled up and down his body swiftly before she turned her attention away from him and back down to the thing that ran into the door of the building. Mavis reached over to her left side, picking up a hand made sling shot and a rock. She drew back the rubberband and let it loose into the things head, it fell to the ground with a soft thud. (C)
"You got to quit scaring the girls downstairs." Grayson chuckled as he stood behind her, hearing his teammates squeal once again. Mavis hoisted herself up and off the edge of the roof, tucked her slingshot into the waist belt of her pants before turning towards him. "Well, maybe they should grow a pair." She shrugged walking past him, her dark black hair flowing behind her. Grayson watched as she walked past him, his eyes never leaving her small curvy petite frame. "Maybe you should dial it down a notch with the whole outdoorsy thing, you know be an actual female for once," Grayson stated. She glanced over her shoulder at him again and he couldn't help himself. He moved quickly, grabbing a hold of her arm only to swing her around and pull her towards him. Mavis made no sound as she hit his chest, his free hand resting on the exposed skin of the small of her back. Her bright blue orbs stared up at him blankly, before she proceeded to remove herself from his hold. (C)
"Careful Dean, I will not hesitate to cut off your balls. I do know how to neuter a male with a plastic spoon." Mavis warned him, using his last name, which only made him chuckle at her words. Grayson honestly did not doubt that the women could literally neuter him with just a plastic spoon, he was sure she was capable of doing it with a stick if she had too. Mavis was resourceful and that was one thing he liked about the women, but he knew the feelings were not returned. She was too closed off and too quiet and he made it a point to press every button he could just to make her talk the first time he met her. Even after all the relentless button pressing she still did not break, it was when he stopped trying to press her buttons when she actually spoke. Questioning him on why he stopped. In response he just told her, he had gotten bored. Grayson's smile never wavered, he removed his hand from her back, letting her go. "You should put more clothes on, the guys seem to be eyeing you like candy lately and I rather not have to kill them." This time, Grayson's voice was full of concern, which caused Mavis to stop in her tracks to stare at him a slight smirk and small chuckle escaping her lips at the sound of his words. (C)
"You shouldn't worry about me but more about them getting their fingers chopped off with a jaw bone." Mavis made her way down and into the gym, picking up a stray pullover hoodie on the way down. Pulling it over her head and her arms as she entered the man floor of the gym. "Alright ya'h pansies, Mav and I are going on a supply run. Ya'll stay here and hold down the fort." Grayson announced as he followed Mavis to the back entrance, where Mavis picked up a semi-automatic sniper rifle only to sling it on her back and her a bat she had made out of the backbone of a deer and tossed it over to Grayson. "Watch your back." Was all Mavis said as she exited the gym with Grayson in tow. (E)

Mavis/Grayson
Mavis and Grayson made it back to the gym without any complications or run-ins with the dead walkers. Grayson could not get what the female back at the hardware shop had said to them, they were welcomed at the campus. There was plenty of space for the entire team the problem was getting the team to leave the gym. Sighing softly he ran his hand through his blond hair, on hand still on his gun. "What's wrong with you Gray?" Mavis questioned, glancing back at him with her blue eyes. He had lagged behind a little and he had not said one perverted thing or joke since they met those females back at the hardware shop. She wondered if he was thinking about how bad the situation could have been or if he was thinking about what they had said. They had just invited them to go with them, even bring the entire football team to the campus. They would be safer than in this damn gym, she knew that and Grayson knew that. "Thinking about what they said back there." He shrugged as he caught up to her. Walking in sync next to her, he threw his large buff arm over her shoulder, "Do you think we can con-" His voice was cut short when they came upon the entrance to the gym, the door was wide open and three walkers were at the entrance of the gym, the door wide open. "No." Grayson's voice was quiet but urgent when he recognized the two freshman players dead, bloodied, and torn apart bodies on the ground near the entrance. The three walkers had not noticed the pair so Mavis tried pulled on Grayson's arm, "Gray we have to go, it's too late for them." She told him quietly glancing between him and the walkers, trying to get him to move but it was no use he was rooted to his spot. "Gray," She tried again but he would not move, so she got in front of him. "Gray we have to go!" She said a bit louder, glancing over her shoulder. 'Damn it.' She thought, the walkers had finally heard her and they were headed towards them. (C)
"Grayson Jaxs Dean!" She shouted at him, slapping his face as she did. Once she shouted again that was when she heard more growls and groans behind her. She glanced over her shoulder again and tried pushing him again. If she needed to, she would stay fight and protect him if he did not snap out of the state he was in. But right as she was about to turn and get her bat ready, Grayson's hand grabbed hers and he started running in the opposite direction. Dragging her behind him. (E)

The night had been awful. Gunshots had rang through the building, coming from the streets where people had been dying. Worse than dying, they'd been rising again and Nulla was glad that they were inside and safe. For now at least. She'd barricaded the door once she'd seen the chaos outside and they'd stayed in, not being willing to risk their lives just yet. It wasn't that she wasn't used to danger, in fact danger was just about her middle name and as she had multiple guns on her as well as a machete she'd looked death in the eyes before and lived. The difference was that this was living death, and Nulla wasn't quite ready to deal with that.
If she'd been on her own in the gym the afternoon before then maybe she wouldn't have cared as much. After all, her own life was a mess and she didn't really have anything to lose. As things were though, she had another member of the gang with her. Someone she wanted to protect beyond him just being her gang brother. He was a youngling, someone that had been drawn in by the idea of family and thrown into the mess and criminal life that was the Bloody Fangs.
As the sun was rising and the first rays of light were thrown into the building through the window, she pushed herself off of the floor and rearranged the clothes that covered her body. Her jeans, which perfectly hugged her waist and accentuated her legs had been slacking off a little so she pulled them up again before pulling her tank top down over it. She then took her jacket from the nearby fitness equipment before throwing it on and brushing her black hair to one side of her face, pulling it to the front of her shoulder.
The logo of the Bloody Fangs was still visible on the jacket even though it had gotten some wear on it as well. Some letters had been broken after the leather had been teared and a part of the patch had loosened on the edges. Seven years of wearing the same jacket daily did that kind of thing, and even though Mr. brutality had suggested to give her a new one, Nulla had politely declined. This was the jacket she'd started in and she intended on wearing it until it either lost the entire logo or literally fell apart.
She made her way over to the corner of the room, where the small body of a young man was curled up on a bench. Squatting next to him, she gently tapped his shoulder before shaking him lightly in an attempt of waking him up.
"Isaiah, wake up. Come on, the sun is out and we have to eat something before we get going." Nulla spoke to the youngling.
Isaiah
"Huh, what is it Nulla?" Isaiah, Softly, spoke in a mannerish voice, as he sits up, rubbing his eyes
wearing the gang apparel, he would put on his jacket whilst waiting for nulla to respond as, he begins working out at the gym
he would, feel his hair tickle the back of his neck, as he feels theres something wrong, as he itches his left arm, underneath the jacket
Dm Post
Nulla couldn't help but to chuckle a bit as the boy immediately started to work out.
"Give those muscles a rest, Isah. I know you're a lot younger than me and your muscles recover faster, but if you keep pushing yourself like you did yesterday afternoon you're going to exhaust yourself." She advised.
Seeing him look at his left arm, her tone changed to a teasing one. "See? Your healing tattoo agrees with me. You need to take it easy. I feel like we'll have a lot of physical activity ahead of us today with the situation that's going on outside. Come with me, we'll head to the cafetaria to see if there's any food left." She added, extending her arm towards him as a gesture for him to follow so that they could at least have something for breakfast. Crisps weren't the healthiest choice, but they'd fill a stomach if they had to.
Isaiah
"But if I rest now what if someone sneaks up on me and attacks me?" I could never take that chance, as he looks around the past nulla
continues to look around, as he continues to work, out as he works against the punching with a slow but easy pace each time he hits it
DM Post
She knew Isah was being silly, then again he didn't really know any better. Ever since he'd joined the gang, he'd constantly been pushed to his limits. Work out more, fight harder, hit faster, dodge sooner... It had been daily drills to him and Nulla felt bad over it, especially when they forced him to do things he didn't particularly feel good about. It was the typical gang life and it was normal but that didn't mean he had to like it. In a way, it was good that he didn't.
"And if you're working out and a zombie comes up behind you? What will you do then, especially if you're already tired?" She asked, attempting to go soft on him. "If someone sneaks up on you and attacks you, you're better of being close to me as I can protect you when it's needed. Besides, you do need to eat even if you might believe that you're truly invincible." She argued, deciding that she'd just start walking. Deep down, she did hope that he'd follow but if he chose not to then that was up to him. He was an adult after all and he'd done fine on his own in the past.
Isaiah
"Well I'll have as you and my trusty bat near me if that happens right?" he would say this in a, scared voice, as he looks towards nulla
he would, then lean against the bag, as he continues to look, at nulla, maybe what if were outside and we get attacked and we were forced to split up because of it?
he would, stand from, the punching bag, as he begins to follow nulla, merely grabbing hold of her arm softly, as he looked around the room, incase anyone else was there with them at the time
DM Post
She couldn't help but to smile when she heard the hint of fear in his voice. In truth, she didn't like scaring him but it got the job done and she'd rather scare him a little with a plausible situation than have him exhaust himself to the point where he would no longer be capable of defending himself.
As he grabbed ahold of her arm softly, she placed a comforting hand on his and walked with him, her gaze darting back and forth every now and then while she focused on what she could hear. So far, things seemed to be rather calm and the gunshots outside of the building had stopped.
Making her way to the back of the gym, she pushed open the door to the cafetaria with her free hand before entering with him. Then, she took one of the chairs and placed it against the door, making sure to push the back of it underneath the handle so that it couldn't be opened without the sound of jingling alerting them.
"Alright, don't worry. There's nobody here and we'll know if people do come. For now, we should get some food in us to give us some strength." She said to him. Softly pulling her arm out of his grasp, she made her way to the bar and stepped behind it, overlooking the shelves to see what there was for them to eat.
Within moments, she'd found packaged toast and minute soup as well as some crisps, some wet sausages, some pickles and some salted nuts. It wasn't much but she figured it'd do for now and that they'd later be able to find something better to eat. Pulling open the fridges, it seemed like nobody had come to raid them yet as they were still fully stocked with soda and beer.
"What are you in the mood for?" She asked, placing the food she'd found on the bar top and throwing open the fridges completely to show him what was available.
Isaiah
"Hm, the toast looks yummy as, of right now" He would, say this as he keeps his eyes peered around the room, before looking at nulla, as his stomach begins to growl, from hunger he would place his bat, against the table still having hold of her arm
he would, begin eyeing up, the sodas in the fridge as he narrowly pointed to them, looking at nulla "We Should Take Some Of Them?"
then he would, narrowly use whatever strength he had, as he sneakily picks up one of the beers sliding into, his bag next to his bat, hoping she didnt notice
DM Post
"Toast it is then." She said as she smiled widely before taking out two plates and putting some toast on them. For her plate, she opened two packets of sausage and cut the sausage up to add onto her toast before opening the jar of pickles and adding those too. Lastly, she took a package of salted crisps and crunched it up in her hands before opening it up and pouring it's containments over her pieces of toast. She admired her culinary art for a moment before looking up at him.
"The same for you? Or just ordinary toast?" She asked before she awaited his answer. If he asked ordinary toast, she'd hand him a pack but if he asked the same, she'd happily make it for him.
As he pointed at the sodas in the fridge, she two bottles of each out of the fridge and opened them with her teeth, not bothering to look for an opener. She'd almost missed how he sneakily placed a beer in his bag due to being so caught up with the sodas but noticed it right before he he pulled his hand back up, a cheeky grin appearing on her face. In any other situation, she'd have told him that she felt he was too young but in this one she didn't say anything. One beer wouldn't hurt the kid, in fact she'd make sure to take one too before they left so that they could drink it together later.
Isaiah
"Yeah I'll have the same as your having, as he pulled out the seats for her and him, to sit down, whilst picking up, the soda from the table, he would take a sip, smiling back at her as he noticed her smiling, as he jokingly nudges her arm, before taking his seat at the table.*
he would, go quiet for a minor, second listening to the noises outside and around them, as he waits for nulla to make his toast
DM Post
Soon enough she had finished his toast too and she placed the plate with her culinary masterpiece in front of him. In all honesty, they usually didn't eat on plates and even though this toast was very simple, it was on par or even better than most of what they ate. When Mr. Brutality had a good week with many sales, they'd sometimes get something more expensive to eat and often times, some of the other members stole some higher end food. Most of the time though, it were simple things like fries and burgers or pizza. For her, especially leftovers out of a fast food restaurant's garbage can as she wished to not have to steal anything unless she absolutely had to.
Of course times were changing now, and she didn't particularly feel bad about taking the food here without leaving any form of payment. She figured that most people would do what they had to in order to survive.
As he nudged his arm to pull her out of her thoughts, she nudged him back just as playfully before picking up a piece of her toast and digging into it. She finished the first one in no time, having been quite hungry before she'd made it. With the second she took her time, taking sips of her soda in between bites.
"I like this." She admitted with a small smile. "Don't get me wrong, I like our family too but there's something pleasant about just being able to relax for a bit and getting to eat, sit and talk." She added. She wasn't lying about that either, as much as the gang had become a home to her it was nice to not have to talk about guns, violence and drugs all the time. She liked Isaiah too as he was one of the softer members of the gang. Just like her, he didn't particularly seem to enjoy the violence.
"Do you still feel bad?" She asked all of a sudden, referring to his initiation task. Robbing the tex mex hadn't been his favorite thing to do, and while some thought it was a necessary evil to be able to join the gang, she herself had felt bad about forcing him to.
Isaiah
He would chuckle, from the nudge back, as she asked him the question, "No I dont, A Task is a task" He would pick up, the toast she had made, having it in his hands, as he looked at nulla "this is as bad as I thought It would, be" he would then take a bite from, toast as his stomach growled more, picking the drink up in his other hand, taking a sip, as I slightly looked at nulla again.
DM Post
"A task is a task, indeed." She repeated and she nodded slowly. "You learned fast, Isah. The boss would be proud of you." She said. Whether or not that was a good thing was left up in the air and she decided not to speak on that matter. Instead, she looked at him as he picked up the toast and took a bite from it. The comment made him frown, and for a moment she assumed that he was speaking about her food instead of the gang.
"You better not be insulting my cooking skills!" She huffed half-angrily, posing with her fists in her sides while she puffed her cheeks. It was clear that she was only faking her anger as soon she started laughing, the whole-hearted sound filling the room before she took another bite of her own toast.
She emptied her first soda before putting it away and sliding her second closer as she finished her second piece of toast, already preparing to dig into the third. It wasn't that bad at all, even though she had to admit that one of the garbage can burgers would probably be preferable.
Isaiah
"No! I'd never insult your amazing cooking skills, your the only who actually knows how to cook decent food out of everyone"
"I sure hope the boss will be proud, because I've put in so much training for this task at hand, and I wouldn't wanna let them down" he would push his chair closer to where nulla was "were gonna be okay" he would smile at her again slightly blushing
DM Post
Nulla grinned a little as he quickly claimed that he'd never insult her cooking skills. Calling them amazing was a far stretch but she'd take it, and he did have a point when he said that she was the only one out of the gang that actually knew her way round food. Having worked in a restaurant at one point was the reason behind that, but truth be told she couldn't do quite as much anymore due to the years of working with few resources.
"Heard him say you're doing great the other day, even though I feel like he's hard on you sometimes. Well on all of us really, but you're still so young." She claimed, the idea of him wanting to make their boss proud nearly breaking her heart. It was no life for a youngling that still had his entire future ahead of him, that was for sure. She'd never say that out loud though as it could cost her her head. Protecting him and some others had already nearly cost her her head.
"Yes we are, we will be okay. I'm sure of it. We always have been and we'll get through this too. Zombies may not fear us like people do, but we're still strong and fast and smart while they're slow and dumb." She said. She hadn't personally seen one up close yet, only from a distance and she had to admit that they'd looked scary, but she couldn't tell him that. She didn't want to make him more nervous than he was.
As he pushed his chair closer, she put a protective arm over his shoulder but made sure to not press her hand against his sleeve. She knew that his skin would still be sore to the touch due to the fresh ink that had been placed in there.
"You never told me where you learned to skate like that. Did you teach yourself?" She asked as she finished her last piece of toast.
Isaiah
"Yeah, I started learning how to skate at a young age, because I didn't really have anyone to teach me , maybe I could show you some skills one day?" he would chuckle looking at nulla, as he grins after saying this, he would then grow quiet listening to noises outside grow closer to them, as he finishes his toast and drink, letting out a burp "I like being in your company, because then I actually feel safe" he would then grow red and blushing after saying this
DM Post
She chuckled a little as he suggested he could learn her some skills one day. She too had been skateboarding almost all her life and had started when she was only five years old. In truth, she was one of the best skaters in the gang but she just didn't like to show off as much. Due to that, she nodded and casted him a big smile.
"Sure, I'd like for you to teach me a thing or two." She claimed. It was a bit of a white lie as there wasn't likely to be anything he could actually teach her, but for the sake of having some fun in this godforsaken world she'd do her very best to pretend she had no idea how he was doing what he did. For all he knew so far, she was capable of skating fast on trails and doing a trick here and there, but he hadn't quite seen her skating in a bowl yet as they weren't really loved at the skatepark.
Noticing how he went quiet, she too stopped talking and listened for a bit. There were noises outside, most of them coming from the back of the building and she felt grateful for the back wall of the cafetaria as it was solid brick. No windows would make the zombies able to see them in there, nor would they be visible to anyone else outside.
"I'm glad you feel safe, that's important. We just have to stay alert at all times but you're doing a good job at that too." She complimented. Finishing her second soda, she was about to get up to get another one when she heard the rattling of the door's handle and saw a vague figure behind it, the figure pushing against the door in an attempt to open it.
"Shit..." She cussed as she instinctively reached for her gun and grabbed it, her hand shaking while she blinked rapidly to try and clear her vision so she could get a better look at the figure without having to go closer.
"Who's there?" She asked, her voice ringing loud and clear before she awaited the response of the person on the other side of the door.
Isaiah
he would notice, nulla doing this as he picked up, his bat standing near her as the chair drops behind, him without realising, as he listens to it bang against the ground, in the cafeteria, as he stared at the figure nulla mentioned, feeling safe and grateful looking at the room before this, scenario, holding the bat closer to his chest ina narrow stance.
DM Post
The vagueness of the figure became more managable as Nulla's vision cleared. She'd expected to see a zombie but instead, she saw a living man standing on the other side of the door and that man started to beg them to let him in.
"Please, please... Help me. I'm scared." He said in a shaky voice as he stopped pushing against the door and instead placed his hand on the glass, despair catching up to him slowly. Nulla stood and doubted, staring at the door and the man behind him before looking back at Isaiah.
Deep down, she didn't feel any urge to help him. She'd feel bad if the man were to die out there, but she didn't particularly think that it was up to them to help him. He'd gotten himself into a situation and now he'd have to get out of it some way or another. Fate would decide what would become of him, or so she thought.
Looking back at the man and then a final time at Isaiah, she let out a sharp sigh and stepped forward, not planning to lower her gun just yet but making her way to the door regardless. Everything inside of her screamed to not help him, to keep doing things her own way and letting people deal with their own problems. There was only one thing that made her move towards that door and it was Isaiah, even though he hadn't said anything or made the decision for her.
She wished to set a good example for him, show him that people didn't always have to be so cruel and so she found herself taking the chair and pulling it back, which caused for the man to be able to open the door and head inside the cafétaria.
In all honesty, the man looked very rough around the edges. His clothing was torn and there was blood all over him. His hair was a mess and his skin seemed to be covered in beads of sweat. It was clear that he'd been running and that his fear had added onto it. He didn't seem to have any weapons on him either, and as Nulla moved the chair back underneath the door handle to close the door behind him, she prepared to check him.
"Spread your feet and your arms and stand still. I won't let you near him before knowing it's safe." She barked at him before he was even able to take one more step in Isaiah's direction.
Isaiah
he would, keep his stance looking at the guy, coming closer as he keeps his eyes on the guy and nulla, watching what she does, keep holding of his bat, as he begins to shake, not knowing whether to strike or let nulla deal with him
isah, would then slowly grow impatient waiting to see what nulla, would do in this situation, as he slowly backs up, tripping over the, chair that fell beforehand as he crashed to the floor, almost dropping the bat in his hand, as he watched nulla and the guy again.
DM Post
The guy seemed to hesitate and for a moment, it appeared he wanted to argue with her about her request. Given the situation he was in and Nulla's ability to simply throw him back out of the room if she wished to, he decided to obey and spreaded his feet as well as his arms.
As he watched how the other, who appeared to be only a year or two younger than he was, backed away and tripped over the chair he couldn't help but to laugh, making fun of the man and his situation. The laughing stopped soon though, as Nulla gave him a hard kick against the back of his knee to floor him and lowered herself against his back so that he'd stay on the floor.
"This ain't no laughing matter, now shut up and let me check your pockets." She said, her hands patting his body on top of his clothes to see if he had anything on him that could harm them. The man remained quiet other than letting out a whine of pain and a hiss when she patted his side, which caused for her to lift his shirt and put it back down.
Moments later, she got back up and brushed off her jeans. "All clear." She said before making her way over to Isaiah and extending a hand for him so that she could help him up. She'd have gotten to him first if she'd already known the guy posed no threat, but this was all she could do in this situation.
Isaiah
he would take her arm, looking at the guy, eagerly incase he tried anything when werent looking, as he softly said "thank you" to nulla as she helped me up, still having a tight grip on his bat as he continues to look at the guy, brushing himself off with his free hand, as patted himself from the fall
he would then, go quiet for a second, listening to the zombies and sound outside as he grew more scared having his bat close to his chest again.
DM Post
The guy stood up from the floor and let out a groan before he started to move to the back wall of the room. Nulla frowned and questioned why he was doing that, unless it was his bite that was making him exhausted. She wasn't speaking about it or addressing it and felt kind of bad about not telling Isaiah, but she knew what she'd have to do eventually as he would turn and it wasn't pretty. If she'd get the chance to do it out of Isaiah's sight, she'd take that chance and make sure that he didn't have to witness it. For now, she kept her lips pressed against each other and didn't even squeak about it.
Before she could ask why he seemed to be so hellbent on reaching the other side of the room, she turned away from Isaiah, who was now up on his feet again. Her attention wasn't grabbed by the zombies that her companion heard outside, but by a more concerning and alarming noise that came from within the building. It sounded like muffled groans and the shuffling of feet and before she could make it to the door to be able to see them better, they'd already appeared on the other side. This was what the man was running from, the one that had bitten him likely walking amongst them.
A horde of 9 zombies ran into the door, snarling and clawing against the glass as they tried their best to make their way in. They luckily didn't seem to understand that glass could be broken when they used enough force, but one or two were smart enough to try the door handle as not all of their memories from when they'd been alive had faded.
"Fuck, fuck, fuck!" Nulla claimed, and she looked back and forth between the two men while she tried to figure out what to do. One thing was sure, she only really cared about keeping herself and Isaiah safe and she'd use the other as a shield if she had to. For now though, she figured that if he thought she'd keep him alive he could be a decent ally. That was why she found herself breaking a chair on her knee and handing him two of it's legs.
Isaiah
He would, watch as this all went on listening to the shuffling feet in the building, as he grasped his bat closer to him as he, turned his gaze around the room and to the doors, noticing the sounds getting a little closer as he waits for nulla to come back, still holding his bat incase anything happened before she came back to him
DM Post
The guy took the chair's legs from her even though he gave her a questioning and puzzled look. Nulla wasn't sure whether or not he'd fight for them all or just for himself, but it really didn't matter. She was trying to count the zombies on the other side of the door and noticed six, only seeing a blur behind those first ones. It were more zombies than she could handle on her own, she feared.
Looking over at Isaiah, he seemed to be as determined as he seemed worried. His training appeared to have paid off and he was holding onto his bat properly, making him unlikely to drop it soon.
"Remember your training and do exactly as I say when I say it." She asked of him, not intending to step back towards him and instead making her way to the door, where she pulled the chair away to let the chaos into the room. In her mind, there was no other way as they'd just remain trapped there if they didn't take action. At least she'd have enough bullets to put them all down. All she had to do was make sure that she was fast enough.
The first zombies entered while she took a few steps back and she took her gun off of it's safety. Four of them headed in her direction while the others were pushed aside by them, five others making it's way around her.
The first shot she took was an absolute bulls-eye, the zombie being close enough to her to be able to hit him in the head right between his eyes. It's body collapsed onto the floor in front of her feet as she moved her gun on to the second, which she managed to hit in the side of his head, damaging enough of his brain to make him slow down before he too fell down.
As the third made it's way to her, it grabbed her arm and attempted to drag her down while the other zombies attacked the people behind her.
Four of them made their way to the man that had just gotten into the room with them, and in his already weak state he only managed to impale two by driving the chair's legs through their heads. The other two got to him fast and digged into his flesh as if they hadn't eaten in days, tearing him apart.
The last of the zombies walked right up to Isaiah, deciding that the young man would become it's next meal as it tried to throw itself on top of him.
Meanwhile, Nulla was struggling with the one that dragged her down, who managed to get her onto the floor before she could hit him in the head too. She hadn't been scratched or bitten by him, and as she only saw one near her, she could nearly smell her victory. One more to go before she could focus on the ones that had moved on to the others and help them out. So she thought at least, as she didn't quite know that the man was getting torn apart even though she heard his screams of pain.
"Come here, you motherfucker!" She yelled as she put her gun back up, aiming at the last zombie that was attacking her with an assured and relaxed smile. She pulled the trigger, only to hear a click that reminded her of her lack of reloading the day before and have the zombie fall onto her, biting her in her neck and tearing out a piece of flesh.
"Isah! Run!" She screamed as blood started pouring out of her gaping wound while the zombie continued to tear her skin and eat her flesh. All she could do was use the last of her strength to take her second gun, prepare to shoot and shoot the zombie that was attacking him, who she managed to hit in the back of the neck without getting a fatal shot. Her last words to him were soft mutterings laced in pain. "Go! Please, go!" She said as the zombie that attacked him started to struggle. Her gun then fell out of her hand and everything went black.
Isaiah
he would, then bolt for the doors, as she said this holding onto his bat and bag, worried he did the wrong thing as a zombie almost cut him, off he would, then use the bat against the zombie willingly as he was trained to do, so and then we begin running again, as he was before, ending up outside as he hides, away from the horde of zombies nearby, shaking in fear almost from what he saw. placing, his bat on the inside of his bag he will, then leave the heading to a new location, which has a pawn shop nearby
