Etymology

This restaurant has been part of Clarey Town for as long as most people can remember. It started out as a family restaurant in the 50's and has grown in popularity over the years, keeping it's charm and welcoming energy. In the early 2000's, it was taken over and turned into a chain restaurant named Texmex. The owner hesitantly agreed to this as his own children and grandchildren had chosen to move out of Clarey and found themselves in bigger cities nearby. He was getting too old to run the place on his own but the new owner agreed to let him stay as manager and head chef.

The interior of the restaurant has changed to fit those of most Texmex restaurants aside from some family pictures that can be found on the walls. There is a second floor to this establishment too that is mainly used to host small events like wedding receptions and birthday parties. This part of the restaurant has a different interior than the rest, keeping it's old decor even though it has been renovated over the years.

Aside from the regular Texmex menu, a few special dishes are still available as the restaurant used to be famous for them before it was turned into another Texmex. The people of the town wished to have those available and the new owner complied, knowing that if he didn't he was likely to lose quite a few customers.
