Leah Young
Leah would find her bag a bit hidden backstage of the auditorium: The tacky holographic silver material was easy to spot.
Taking a deep breath in, she was beyond nervous to see her father he expected higher of her.
The company she inherited was his first, a cosmetic company with the slogan "to be young again" it was easy to remember since it was their last name.
Leah would place a hand over her chest taking a couple deep breaths in before releasing then placing her hand in her purse feeling for her notes, as she did that her phone vibrated and chimed an obnoxious tune: It was Skylar probably wondering what was taking so long.
"Here goes nothing" she whispered before leaving the backstage, her heels clicking loudly with each step across the wooden floors.
DM Post
At first glance, the auditorium seemed to be completely abandoned. The sound the heels of the woman made bounced from wall to wall, darting through the room in an echo of solitude. It nearly sounded like the sole sound was trying to fill up the space with it's presence, and miserably failing at that.
No other sound met them until in the far distance, a sob reached the empty air as well. A single sob that appeared to be smothered, waiting to make sure that the clicking of the heels was the walking of a living person rather than the shuffling sounds that zombies produced.
Once it was established that whatever had entered the auditorium was indeed a living and breathing human being, a head popped out somewhere near the last row of seats. The head was low and hard to spot, being close to the ground as if the person it belonged to was crawling over the floor.
"E-excuse me, Miss?" A shaking voice asked, trying to get the attention of the one that had announced her presence through her heels. If the woman were to turn and pay the speaking person some attention, she would likely spot a head covered in blonde curly hair through which bright blue eyes peeked. The eyes, wondering whether or not their surroundings were safe, zoomed in on the woman that had just left the backstage and focused on her, as if to make sure she wasn't a threat.
"I don't want to bring you any trouble..." The voice added, a little softer as it got mixed with fear and insecurity. Slowly but surely, the owner of the voice appeared fully in sight, wearing a blue and white flowered dress that had dark red smears on the front. She crawled out of the row and attempted to stand up, although her knees seemed weak and her legs trembled heavily.
Leah Young
Leah completely unaware of the outside world's troubles stopped and turned to look at the girl. At first she was annoyed with the sudden inconvenience, but upon seeing the smears on her dress she put two and two together.
"A-Are you ok?" Leah choked she tried her hardest to sound sincere which was a problem for her. She was never great at comforting people that wasn't for her own benefit.
"Did someone attack you? Should i call the police?" Leah asked pressuring the small girl to speak. Her hazel hues pierced into her bright blue ones, searching for an answer.
If the girl would to look at her she would see not your average girl; she would see someone who looked like they stepped out of a magazine photoshoot or someone who is getting ready for prom, leah has her brown hair in a low updo, with soft curls framing her face: if the girl ever read gossip magazines or went into makeup stores she would have seen Leah's picture here and there.
The company Leah was just granted was a cosmetic line.
As Leah awaited for her answer the more her phone chimed and flashed a flickering light.

"I-" The girl started. Her mind was racing and her head was spinning "Yes... No... I mean yes..." She added, not really offering clarity. Her gaze fell on the girl and briefly scanned her, noting the familiarity but not really knowing where she'd seen her before.
"I'm okay, not mine." She stated as she gestured at the smears, her eyes filled with tears while sobs marked the end of her sentences. She wanted to explain where the blood came from but she didn't know how to, instead reaching for the girl in despair even though she still was too far away to touch.
"I did call the cops, they never showed. I don't dare to go outside anymore. It's been hours." She concluded. After that, she moved closer to the wall and placed her back against it, her arms wrapped around her knees. This person wasn't going to help her, was she?
While fear and worry started growing, she tried her best to get her heart to stop racing. Eventually, it only slowed down when she pulled her gaze away from the girl and looked at the row in front of her, which was the same she'd crawled out of.

"If they wont come to you, then you go to them" Leah stated walking slowly to the girl "I-I have a car waiting outside, we can go together, and we can get some help."
Leah looked down at her flashing phone. After unlocking the device she scanned over her text messages, her heart aching seeing the amount of missed calls from Skylar; text messages filled with "where are you?" and "stay put. Roadblocks"
Leah looked around the room her head filling with anxiety and uncertainty "w-we have to get help...i-I dont know whats going on but something is not right." Leah said frantically
DM Post
Something wasn't right indeed. In fact, it was very very wrong and if Leah came close enough to be able to look at the row of seats that the girl was sitting near, she'd be able to see the dead bodies on the floor. There were two of them, one appearing human and looking rather similar to the girl herself if it weren't for being of the opposite gender. A puddle of blood surrounded his shoulder, where a piece of flesh appeared to be ripped out. The other body looked less human and had flesh that appeared to be in the first stage of decaying. Some bone was visible here and there and the body had enough gunshots wounds to resemble a colander. A few of those wounds looked fresh while others looked older, and those that looked fresh seemed to have been inflicted by the gun that was on the floor between the bodies and the girl.
"Outside isn't safe..." The girl claimed in shaky voice and she wildly shook her head at the thought of getting help. "There isn't any help... we're lost... everything is lost. Nowhere is safe." She added. Normally speaking, she'd have slapped anyone in the face for saying that something was a lost cause but with her brother having died by the hands, or rather teeth, of the creature she'd shot she no longer felt that way. She had lost everything, what more was there to live for now?
Noticing the phone that was flashing, she widened her eyes in shock. "Do you have a friend outside? They need to get somewhere else... indoors maybe? I don't know, somewhere safer... if there is such a place."
Leah Young
Leah looked at her in shock her face went pale and her next sentences was caught in her throat. "I-I might be stranded here...." Leah said in a small voice
"M-My car had a driver.." Leah looked down at her shoes tears filling her eyes "if outside is as dangerous as you make it seem...he mightve left me"
At this Moment Leah felt small and terrified; the bodies on the floor was nothing she had seen before, yes shes seen people die peacefully but never in a state like this. Never so eroded and in this advanced state of decay
Placing her hands on her knees leah gasped for air. Her chest heaving painfully, feeling as though her lungs were about to burst, Shaking as the room began to spin.

Stranded... she was stranded? The girl watched closely at the other who seemed to be falling apart rather quickly. It was an odd thing to witness considering that she didn't appear to have lost anything yet so far. She had seemed so collected and now she too was turning into this scared woman that seemed at a loss about what to do next.
"A driver, you say?" She asked, a small hint of disbelief and annoyance in her eyes. Great, a rich girl, and now that she was putting the information together it started to click like a puzzle. She wasn't just rich, she was somewhat of a celebrity and she now remembered seeing her picture in the tabloids. She tried her best not to roll her eyes, after all they seemed to both be in similar situations now if it weren't for her brother dying.
Her brother, or rather the vessel of who he used to be let out a sound that sounded close to a groan and she backed away from him quickly, scrambling to get up on her feet as she reached for the gun.
"Shit, shit, shit!" She claimed when she got ahold of the weapon, the body slowly rising as well. Aiming to shoot, she nearly squeezed her eyes shut just to be able to pull the trigger. It didn't matter though, not even if she'd been blindfolded. She couldn't do it, she couldn't shoot her brother even though he was long gone in reality. Hand shaking and legs trembling, she backed away further, nearly stumbling down the steps of the auditorium and falling into the other girl.
"Go, we need to go!" She said, this time a little louder before she lowered her gun and grabbed the girl by the arm, attempting to pull her along to the hallway. If she managed to, she'd make a turn towards the stairs to be able to exit the building as quickly as possible.
Leah Young
Leah took a deep breath in trying to calm herself then looked up at the girl "yes. A driver" she replied in a snarky tone "im stuck in a place that haS A DEAD BODY!" Leah yelled in disbelief unable to understand how she could be so calm and collected around a body thats been clearly shot to all hell.
Trying to check her notifications the girl bumped into her. Leah slumped forward; before she could process what she was doing her body was moving without her trusting the girl and moving along with her pull.
"Whats going on!?" Leah protested, walking in her heals as fast as she could she demanded answers "how are you so calm?"
DM Post
Calm... calm was the misunderstanding of the year and as the protesting lady that had just yelled about the dead body moved along with her while demanding answers, her own head was spinning. She was far from calm, mostly she was trying to process what had happened in the last hours. Out of all the things, her dead brother rising was the worst. She should've shot him and as they moved through the hallway, she already started to regret that she couldn't.
"He didn't deserve this..." She muttered as they reached the stairs, and she wanted to go on but quickly got annoyed by the loud clacking of the heels on the floor.
"Dead is too good of a word to describe what he is now. It's monstrous. The zombies you might've seen in tv shows or movies? They're real. He's real." She said to her, as if that explained everything. She then proceeded to move down the stairs to make her way outside of the building. All she could think about was getting out of the hellhole they'd found themselves in, away from the horror she'd witnessed and to the safety of her dorm room.
Leah Young
"I-Ive watched some horror films-." Leah replied getting frustrated with her heels. It was a challenge rushing down the stairs, her shoes weren't made for running.
"Is there any- hold on!" Leah in the middle of rushing downstairs began taking off her shoes "any explanation on whats going on?"
Leah had a heel in each hand huffing and puffing as running wasnt her hobby of choice
She didnt know why she trusted this girl- hell she didnt even know her name, yet alone trusting someone with a gun of all things, for all Leah knew this girl was the one who shot those things, but if they were zombies that would make sense.
"Where are we going?!"

As the girl took off her shoes, she frowned. She wanted to start laughing, even tease her about the heels or make fun of the little miss rich that was now running around without shoes. She did neither of those things though, as her expression fell flat the moment she stopped frowning. What was going on? How could she explain that? It was a horrible situation that belonged in fantasy, not reality but that didn't explain it either...
"I don't know what's going on. Truth is, I prefer not to know. All I know is that it's dangerous, that I shot the thing that attacked my brother and that I should've shot him too but couldn't get myself to." She sighed. As they proceeded to move and exit the building, she stopped before pushing the door open so they could cross part of the campus and make their way to the dorms.
"The only place I think might be safe..." She answered when asked where they were heading. "My dorm room." She added. She halfly expected for the girl to scrunch her nose to the answer as the dorms probably were far from the girl's standards but it was all she had so it would have to do.
Urging her on, she pushed the door open to be able to step outside.

Leah felt a tad uncomfortable without her shoes on; she assumed that if people were attacking others there were plenty of things that could be broken or cause injury to her feet. It was unlikely that they had tweezers or even decent medical supplies at hand: gauzes, wraps hell even a scalpel would be helpful getting glass out of your foot.
It was a chance she would have to take: Running with a splinter is easier than tunning with twisted ankle.
"Dorms? You attend school here?" Leah asked; she felt kind of silly asking that question but small talk about anything other than the girl's brother was a blessing in her eyes. She could tell that the topic was difficult for the girl to talk about.
"Lead the way-" Leah said putting all her faith in the girl; her safety was at her mercy.
At any moment she could turn and shoot her, use her for bait or both. Hopefully she wouldn't but if she did Leah would have to make a run for it- which was dangerous because she didnt know her way around the school. She was just a special guest someone who gave the school large donations to use their facilities from time to time.
