"-We are getting reports of another building going down on 83rd and Elm. The Evergreen Apartment complex, which is a relatively new apartment complex, has completely collapsed tonight. Firefighters and first responders are on the scene now digging through the rubble. As some of you may know, The Evergreen Apartments were low-income housing for EDEs or Extra-Dimensional Entities. "Yes, thank you Craig, we are here now at the complex and as you can see back at the studio, there isn't much left of the newly opened apartment building," the camera pans around a parking lot that is covered in ash and debris, firefighters seen in the background fighting to contain small fires.
"Firefighters are beginning to suspect that there are no survivors but we won't know for certain for several of days, even a week at the most," the older reporter stated calmly to the camera.
He glanced over his shoulder and saw Police Chief walking up to the scene with the Fire Marshall. "Chief Benson, Marshall Calvin! What can you tell us about the disaster? Do you think that this building was targeted specifically because it was housed by outliers? Do you think this was a terrorist attack?"
"No comment," Chief Benson muttered as he and the Fire Marshall slipped under the yellow tape.
"Well folks, as you can see we aren't sure of the cause or motivation of the catastrophe, if there is one, but stay tuned and we will continue to develop the story as it updates."
