Republican Senator Dennis Vanderfoek was found dead in his home by his wife, Carol Vanderfoek.
He was found collapsed on the floor of their bedroom and EMTs at the scene attempted resuscitation before calling the time of death at 9:12pm.
Authorities believe that he died of a heart attack but until an autopsy is done, we will not sure for sure.
