Beneath the night sky Seattle would shine brightly. Beneath the city, however...
Methodical steps echoed through long, winding, and nearly forgotten sewer chambers. The crunch of sludge and debris beneath massive clawed feet boomed within the vicinity. Garbage and decaying mounds of rotting things cast away from the path forward by over sized muscled arms tipped with blunt claws.
Rats scurried away as the beast continued to walk forward. Over sized head tilting side to side on occasion as small nostrils drew in air thru his beak to analyze his surroundings. Jagged lower jaw hung open revealing rows of razor-like teeth. Slimy red tongue danced as if it was sentient, running over the teeth and occasionally dangling a little too far before being slurped back inside it's deadly home.
The rounded, tank sized beast would stop at a particular mound of garbage. Rummaging thru it with his clawed hands and nosing at it with an interested beak. Beady eyes would narrow under layers of natural plated armor. Mouth hanging more open than normal as saliva pooled and ran down his chin and onto his thickly armored chest. The mouth would be worked around a mound of vegetation, excrement, and several fast food wrappers. One shifting out of the way to reveal a small animal of sorts, nearly rotted beyond recognition. Cat or raccoon.
CHOMP
Rhythmic chewing and slobbering echoed down the tunnels. A snort of satisfaction. Perhaps the odd sounds echoed out of various pipes or man-hole covers. Maybe a storm drain. Or maybe it all went entirely unnoticed in the bowels of the city...
The walking would begin again - rotten flesh was not enough. The creature needed something fresh...

Max, in his quest to hunt down the twisted clone that arrived in this universe with him, found himself down in the underbelly of the city. Rumors said that a huge monster had been lurking about the docks and sewers, and it sounded a lot like the creature he was looking for.
"I have to make this right," he thought, quietly roaming through the sewers.
Clothed in his Titan uniform, Max's large frame was surprisingly agile and stealthy, a trait he learned from Titan Alpha. He heard a noise in the nearby area, the snapping, scraping noise of huge jaws. Quietly peering around the next corner, Max silently watched the massive figure eating from the trash. Though hard to tell in the low light, it didn't match the silhouette he was seeking.
"Looks like... sort of a big turtle..." he mused internally, "Not exactly what I wanted."
When the figure began walking in his direction, Max dipped around the corner again and quickly began to walk away, hoping to put some distance between himself and the huge creature. This stretch of sewer was a long, straight passage, and he wasn't sure he'd make it back out of sight once the turtle rounded the next corner.

Things were amiss.
Cadmus's message on the chat had been smooshed down she hoped but it didn't make her any less.. wary.. or curious for that matter. Something big in the sewers? Sure the drop off was where they suspected most crazy kaiju looking beasties to be so as the blonde wandered through the narrow passages in time to catch sight of someone in a super suit? Head poked around the corner slowly, holding her glowsticks in palm with a furrowing of brows.
Who was this?
She'd left Cadmus a message just in case she wasn't back within a couple of hours but but she wondered if perhaps it was all nothing to be fussed about. However the sound of something crunching and sloshing from-
What the fuck was that thing?
Sucking in a sharp breath, Els' hand gripped that glowstick a bit tighter and she'd whisper harshly to Judge from her hiding spot, "Hey! You! What are you doing down here?! This is private property so take your weird Ninja Turtle and get lost."

"...GuuurrrGurrrl..."
The massive beast stopped dead in it's tracks and snapped it's jaw tightly. An audible clash of teeth, exoskeleton, and beak gnashing as he surprisingly quickly turned to look down the tunnel from where the sudden shouting had come from.
Sinking low, but not on all fours, the beast tilted it's head from side to side, sniffing the air loudly. It's vision would be obviously poor to any on-lookers. Tiny black eyes housed behind thick columns of natural armor. It did however, have many other ways to sense prey.
The one who shouted was the focus. No other presence currently registered for the monster.
Slowly it trudged forward. Large, sickening smile dropping open casually. Red, slimy tongue running side to side. It would head towards the shouting growling low with occasional clicks/clacks of the throat. - was it picking up speed?

"It doesn't see well..." Max observed, thinking to himself, "But it knows something is here."
When a voice called out from behind him, Max spun around as quietly as possible. Seeing the mysterious woman as an occupant of the area, he brought his index finger up to his lips as if to say Shhhh without making a sound. Turning back to face the humongous terrapin, Max's long arm reached down towards a nearby piece of rubble. With the broken bit of concrete in hand, Max slowly walked backwards attempting to make as little noise as possible.
Slowly cocking his arm back, Max took a deep breath and whipped the rubble over the creature's head. Ideally it would land a short distance behind the massive turtle and make enough noise to get its attention while Max backed away towards Elsa.
Turning to look over his shoulder, Max's face seemed plastered with concern for the smaller stranger.
"Please just back away," he thought, "This guy ain't with me."

Eyes loomed, well adjusted to the darkness of the narrow channel and the blonde would slowly and quietly toe out from the corner near Max. Shaking her head, the lass lifted her own finger to her lips to mime that gesture he'd done, "Shut up. I can handle this as well as anyone.. this is my home." Lips pursed, watching as that rubble went high into the air and the sound of that massive being moving was what made her decide that maybe she should lend more than just urgent words of 'get out'.
Hand snagged what looked similar to a long pipe with a rubber end for a handle, a small square piece sticking up from the end. It appeared to be the handle for a lever mechanism? When it seemed that she might have the plan to start swinging it for Max, she'd instead urge him to follow after her with another hushed whisper, "Follow me! If that thing barrels down on us and is faster than it looks, you're gonna be whatever its chomping on next."
Elsa dipped back around the corner and, careful to avoid most of the rubble on the narrow pathway beside that deep sludge water, she'd attempt to hurriedly guide the interloper to a large set of bars poking from the top of the ceiling. The end of that 'handle' was shoved into a wall mechanism- quite loudly out of necessary evil- and she'd give a grunt, "Hurry! Come on, come on." Using the muscles in those arms to the best of her ability, she'd star cranking the lever and was rewarded with the creak and groan of ancient mechanisms trying to drop that divider grate to try and buy them some time.
Certainly didn't help that the damned gate looked close to falling apart.

Rattling.
As the sewers stirred with activity, the sound of rattling would echo through it's various tunnels, bouncing off the hard stone walls in every direction. Though likely dampened by the commotion, as the large turtle man had been drawn to the sounds of shouting it would appear that something... else had also taken interest.
The rattling grew louder, crud squelching beneath shoe as a figure came to a stop, watching silently as Elsa (and assumedly, Judge) as they dipped around the corner, still out of their eyeshot though quite interested in what, exactly, the two were up to in a place like this.
It'd follow, rattling growing louder. Faster... eventually catching up to the pair as mechanisms groaned, the figure stopping a good few feet away from them.
Mouth opened, prepared to speak... until realization set in.
What were these.... creatures? Their composition was certainly similar. Language was understandable, too... but something about them seemed a little too....
Jawbone dropped. Wide, dark holes stared forth as he continued to inspect them completely unaware of the threat that was likely barreling down the tunnel behind them.
"Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat the freaking hell ARE YOU THINGS?! WHAT IS THIS PLACE?!"
Skeleton man in a sewer-drenched business suit certainly didn't look as out of place beside the large turtle man that was chasing them... but something about the situation had certainly spooked him.

The beast was gradually gaining momentum as it's clawed feet slammed methodically into the grimy-wet tunnel floor. Long clawed 'fingers' skimming the scummy walls & edges of the corridor. It would continue to tilt it's head side to side, tongue very obviously dancing as if to entice something to touch it.
The echo of something heavy landing behind him was enough for the creature to stop briefly and assess with a sniff and a slow cocking of his oversized head to the left.
"GuuRrrrr?"
It's rounded body turning slightly, exposing for all to see the massive, jagged shell he carried on his back. Scars, pieces of debris, chips, chinks, chunks missing, but still seemingly one of the sturdiest sets of natural armor in the living world. No sooner did the creature turn than did the sounds of some sort of mechanism being activated further down his original path catch his attention and remove it from the thrown piece of debris.
The tunnel gate was slowly falling, clearly struggling with eons of rust & rot. The creature reared back and suddenly slammed it's clawed hands into the muck. The tunnel trembled and shook loose brick and garbage around the area. A mighty, guttural roar would blast from it's cavernous mouth and suddenly it was running forward, lunging on all fours. The confused & terrified screams of the new Skeletal arrival twisting around the sound of the beast bounding towards them.
The creature was irritated, hungry, and now fully focused on laying claim to it's territory...

"It's like a wild animal," Max thought.
"I don't think that gate's going to hold!" he shouted, nearly spinning around and decking the skeleton in the face, "Get behind me!"
Forcefully trying to shove the skeleton man behind his back, Max stepped forward to intercept the beast's path, heavy boots skidding on the wet muck as he planted them. With two stomps of his feet Max literally buried his boots deep within the concrete to try and brace himself for the turtle's impact.
"He's an animal. Maybe I should stand my ground?"
Some creatures would hesitate to attack if challenged, and Max was hoping there would be some way to reason with the armored beast if he could. Cocking fists upward and bringing them sharply to the floor shook the tunnel as violently as Tartaruga had, sending small fissures out from the impact and bits of debris flying. The green of his eyes took on a hint of luminosity as mild gamma radiated from his body.
"If you're going to drop the gate, do it now!"
Whether or not the turtle hesitated or backed down, Max held his hands out in front of his body, ready to try and wrestle with Tartaruga.

Unseen in the darkness, Lalita watches from a discreet and inconspicuous corner. She views the scene unfolding before herself with utmost curiosity, her inhuman senses picking up every single noise and every single movement in the echoing sewer. There is no effort at all to assist, even though she would probably be of great help. Perhaps she wishes to see bloodshed. For now she remains hidden, utterly pleased with what she is witnessing, a wide and eerie grin unfaltering upon her disturbing face.
That focus on getting the grate down halted the moment there was a shrieking skeleton barreling down on them, eyes huge in her skull. Muscles strained, blonde prepared to shriek when Max grabbed and sought to toss Forbes back behind him to safety.. Or as close to safety as this was.
The sight unfolding was fascinating and Elsa almost thought she was seeing things as the stranger in her sewer 'powered up' so to speak, that gigantic turtle's guttural howling hitting her ears just over the demand. "Hey Boney, move!" With a grunt, the tiny woman's entire body began to change and shift into something much larger than what she'd initially been. The stereotypical visage of a circus strongman, Elsa used this new form to her better advantage and gave that lever several more violent yanks before that groaning sound- along with ominous clankings- heralded the drop of that dividing grate.. just in front of Max to cut him off from the turtle. Debris, sludge and filth scattered and flew upon the impact of the ancient fixture but even Elsa could see it likely wouldn't do much good, the top part rusted away and without chance to relift.
"C'mon my dudes we gotta jet!" Hesitant, she had to assume in the heart of the moment that Forbes likely wasn't going to consume her flesh, snagging his 'wrist' in an attempt to bolt through the darkness. All entirely unaware that someone beyond the immediate group had their menacing eyes upon the situation.

Forbes had no idea. None. Absolutely zero information.
What kind of situation had he stumbled his way into here? Why did everyone look so... weird?
Was this really what the surface of his planet looked like? It'd been such a long time since he'd left the safety of the floating citadel. A few hours ago he was still stood in his laboratory... and now? After landing in the middle of a park he'd come across an old sewer entrance.
Probably not the best choice.
What were all these things, scurrying and shouting? What about the overly large, angry one?
He'd stand in shock as things played out in front of him, high-pitched shriek sounding as Judge pushed him behind, Forbes practically quivering in fear, quite unsure of what to do!
Not much, it seemed. Head spun from side to side as he tried to make sense of things. Judge did his thing and something... clicked.
Whilst he didn't quite recognize the lifeform it'self, there was a certain familiarity with the ability Judge was displaying. Forbes paused, watching intently until Elsa shouted at him. He'd look over to the woman.
"B-Boney?! But you're all... I mean... wh-what is all this on your bones?" He couldn't quite make sense of it, odd looking creatures certainly displayed the same characteristics as he, though didn't seem quite so concerned about their very obvious differences. Maybe they were from some primitive tribe, lost to the ages? But how likely was it that Forbes had just now discovered them?
He'd remain rooted to the spot, apparantly unaware of the destruction heading their way... and the eyes in the dark that were looking over as all of this unfolded. Once Elsa had grabbed his wrist, he'd be forced to follow along with her, everything becoming a little too overwhelming for the poor guy to keep up!

The beast was focused and moving like a Freight Train down the grungy tunnel. The confident male who stood firm a few quickly closing meters ahead was noticed but more so as an obstacle to brace and prepare to plunge through. Slobbering beak gnashed loudly and growls persisted as the creature was nearly on top of them...
The ground being shook by the man ahead caused Tartaruga to thrash over slightly to the side and run it's plated armor across the wet brick of the tunnel causing more debris and a few sparks... The creature hardly lost a step due to it's incredibly low center of gravity, weight, and momentum...
The moment was almost near. Tongue retracted, neck extended, it could almost taste the flesh before hi-
CRASH!
The gate released just above the creature, a few feet from the male and the ones he was attempting to protect.
Dust, mud, and debris obscured the view anyone in possession of 'normal' vision would have of the beast...
When the dust cleared the scene would be shocking.
The gate was crumbling. Jutting iron and steel, starting from the ceiling and gradually making its way to the base, twisting all around the formidable shape of a jagged shell. No visible limbs or head. The gate itself seemingly warped around the semi-rounded shape...
"Grr....rrr....rrrr....."
Lowly rumbled from within the carapace. Tips of clawed appendages occasionally peaking out as if to feel its surroundings, nudging lightly some stray shrapnel.
How much time they had before it got back up was unknown, but the beast seemed healthy - albeit slightly entrapped by twisted metal...

"It's just charging at us wildly. Territorial?" he thought as the beast slammed into the gate.
Max turned his head to the folks behind him, pulling his feet out of the craters he'd dug himself into, bits of rubble scattering all around.
"Y'know, if we wanted to run, the time would be now. I'm not sure of that thing's upper limits but with strength like that... he's gonna break the gate soon. If you want to flee, then go NOW. I can hold it off!," his voice boomed through the dust and debris, eyes faintly visible as pinpoints of green light.
Lalita, slinking through the nearby darkness, was unnoticed by Max in lieu of the massive turtle creature. The large man seemed resolute to keep everyone behind him out of harm's way, potentially at a cost to himself.
"Just how strong could it be?"

Forbes was probably lucky that he seemed to be such a pushover, it made Elsa less insistent on dragging him along at least.. but it was Max's insistence on standing his ground that had her worried.
Hands flew up to protect her face from the flying debris and sludge as that turtle managed to take the entire impact of the gate.
"Holy shit my dudes.." Tongue swiped bottom lip, Elsa hesitating before shaking her head, "No what are you insane?! Why stay and fight something that probably wants to turn you into a pushpop?!" Forbes earned a wrinkling of her nose, "Buddy this is what the vast majority of us all look like.. You're the one that isn't in Kansas anymore... now come and help me move this!"
The 'this' in particular was a rough looking grate covering a circular pipe tunnel, the blonde attempting to move things out of the immediate path so they could attempt to climb in and wander deeper into the system, "This passage shouldn't be far off from the Trenches or the Pit.. whichever comes first.." Shudders were running the span of her spine, the feeling of eyes on her back... but it went ignored.

Disorientated, he'd stick close to Elsa, though attention was primarily fixed on Judge and Tartaruga, who had just had a run in with that big iron gate.
Jawbone dropped, skull shaking wildly. He didn't particularly want to stick around for the large beast to pop out of it's shell again... but of course, escaping into a dark tunnel with the slightly less, but still quite strange looking things didn't seem like a great option, either.
Then again, at least they weren't charging violently toward him!
"A pushpop?" he'd question, shrill voice sounding as teeth clattered together, skull twisting toward Elsa as she attempted to move the grate, skeleton quickly shifting himself toward her, taking hold of one side and assisting in moving it. Once removed, he'd hesitate in following Elsa inside, looking over to Judge as he hovered over the entrance to the tunnel.
"Push... pushpop?" Was that it's name? "Maybe following this smaller creature is the best option, for now."
Certainly better than waiting to see what, exactly, Tartaruga was capable of.
Regardless of Judge's choice, Forbes would then somewhat reluctantly follow Elsa deeper into the sewer system.

Movement would start slow, but gradually the beasts long clawed upper limbs would extend and gently paw at the sides of it's rounded body.
A second or two later and the creature would -spin- rapidly in place, using it's muscular arms to rotate it's entire body (held within his shell) rock, muck, and scraps of iron fencing would fling about the space dangerously. Low growling echoing within the shell as it continued picking up speed.
Once he felt his carapace was no longer snagged, buried, or hooked he would astonishingly quickly spring up into the air and with two loud 'THUCKS!' his legs appeared and the giant turtle was now upright. Clawed hands brushed abdomen clean. Moss and grass that shared a home on his shell shaken lightly and freed of dust like a regular person would do with dirty pants or a shirt.
Slowly it's head would emerge. Massive Jaw slinging open and disgusting tongue slobbering to the side. It snorted the air momentarily and craned it's neck. Seemingly sizing up the male before him who had buried his feet in the earth.
A guttural growl and a stiff clamp of his steel-trap-like-Jaw and it began trudging forward. Stomping over some rebar and concrete effortlessly.
It was moving forward with a very low stance. Head slightly coiling in the frame of his shell as if a spring was gaining tension...
Low growling continued until he would reach within inches of the green eyed male. If he remained in his path, Tartaruga would extend his neck like a hair trigger and chomp viciously towards him in a blindingly quick display of his bites power...

As Tartaruga flung debris everywhere, Max defensively brought his arms up to guard his face from whatever would follow it. As the creature charged forward, Max sent his fist into the nearby wall, sending out a spray of pulverized concrete and dust to throw off the beast's aim.
With the dust cloud obscuring the way, Tartaruga would find his bite hit an arm much larger than he probably anticipated. Where Max stood there was now a larger figure, taller than Tartaruga but not as massive around of course.
"Now back OFF!" he shouted, sending his hulking fist to the side of Tartaruga's head with enough force to dislodge the jaws from his opposite arm if it connected. Blood dripping from the bite wound, a clean slice in the shape of jaws, very slowly began to knit itself shut if Tar was removed.

The fight felt like it was happening in slow motion in all honesty.. things were terrifying and that tended to make your brain process slower or faster depending on the situation. However as that beast flung the debris and rebar everywhere, Elsa turned and moved to shove Forbes protectively into the opening of that side passage.
Sharp pain lit up senses, a decent sized chunk of concrete bouncing off the back of the blonde's skull and across her shoulder, snagging a slice through t-shirt and pale flesh. A string of Spanish left those lips, no doubt a series of expletives before she'd squint at the skeleton, "You alright man?" Focus changed direction in time for that guttural snarling from the turtle.. could they even make that sound?
Eyes widened in horror though as it moved forward and snapped those powerful jaws, yelp of disbelief barely out of lips when it seemed as though Max was entirely ok. Really? What was all this then? Brows shot up, still trying to tuck Forbes further into the safety of the passage as she stared on in surprise.. what sort of mutation was that?? "Dude you ok?"

Forbes wasn't exactly thrilled to be here right now. Especially not after being pushed into the side passage. How rude.
Skull swiveled to view Judge's display of power, shocked noises emitting from the skeleton as he slowly backed up, wanting to put as much distance between himself and the brawl as he could.
"M-man...?" he'd respond to Elsa in a low tone, the skeleton braced to offer her some assistance after watching her take the falling concrete like a champ.
"Are... a-are you ok.... th-thing?" he'd question, though attention would soon remove itself from Elsa and fix back onto Judge, watching as 'pushpop' began to... heal?
"I should never have braved the subterranea...." he'd mutter to himself, "It is probably better that we vacate this place and let this... Pushpop deal with the situation..."
