I'm excited to see you wanted to participate in an RP focused on nations and the citizens within them. This will operate on a planet similar to Earth but in this case, will be called Terra as an overall title as each nation can of course refer to their home planet by a different name. You will be largely in control of the development of your fictional nation, however, try to be reasonable considering what your nation values, how key individuals in its history influence it, and how it develops as it interacts with other nations.
All nations will start off as a single village as a rough starting point to their history. As per the rules of decency, no larger more established nations will be allowed to bully small starting villages by more established players who have written out the history and experiences of their nation and each village will be allowed the chance to develop its own history and catch up with other members. That's why the RP will be divided up into groups for different members at different levels of development. I will be keeping an eye out to make sure everything runs smoothly.
I encourage you to play out notable aspects of your nations and for writing partners to play citizens in each other's civilizations to stimulate the development and create unexpected events in each other's histories.
As per rules, I expect everyone to use common sense and have reasonable decency for each other. I understand that real-world history parallels will pop up, however, do not fixate on misogyny, racism, fascism, imperialism, or general prejudice to religion, LGBT+, and other excuses used to persecute others to an obsessive degree. If it's relevant integrate the element but don't fixate or focus on it in detail. Same thing for when wars, battles, and skirmishes break out. Don't go so much into the blood and gore. Speak with your writing partners as to how comfortable you are with each other but if anything awful comes to my attention I will intervene. Sexual subjects are also not to be treated insensitively and should especially be covered for those involved.
