Sure. The expensive books are the collection that's included in his profile. Unless you have a specific book in mind.

Looking at what you've just said it would seem that way, but it's not. The story concerning Ruin, I fleshed out last night and I wanted a character familiar with the area/culture/history.
When I was younger, in my late teens, I was fascinated by middle eastern culture, not the religious side but the mythology, I still am.
Re-researching nomadic culture this morning prompted me to cast Tarid's ancestry as Bedouin.
We had talked about pairing regarding Winter, if I remember right. (prod me if I'm wrong.) But I think it would be best to go with the flow. If you think your characters would take to certain persons then I'm happy to develop the relationship.

Yes, we did talk about it, but I've sort of seen characters look good on paper before, but not work out. Shanni was sorted unofficially to be with Joseph Reiner, but when my partner and I RPed them together at the time, Shanni actually couldn't stand him. LOL He was too blunt and forceful where she had just come off the trauma of her first death and being a new Bee. The pairing that worked out for her was Jude Shinohara whom he also RPed and whom Shanni married. Joseph and Lark were a better pair for each other at the time.

Yes, I think I'd like the different characters to get to know each other. Naisha is still hard for me to grasp. I find she's almost a younger, more carefree version of Shanni at this point. So I'm really not sure with Naisha. She would naturally be drawn to someone older and wiser.

I could see Fallon being intrigued and attracted to a more artistic sort. Her ex- was a composer.

I think Shanni will naturally be drawn to a fellow archeologist, but then neither Jude or Sal were that in their careers.

I have a small rule I adopted when Valeria(Kaylee) was in my group. Never plan relationships. Let them happen naturally, it's more credible.

I couldn't write what she wanted me to because both my character weren't attracted to her. Morbhagan was a tease only for emotional nourishment.

I agree, honestly the IC relationship my characters have had were (I know you found it strange as a word) organic through RP and for the most part pleasant surprises for the time they lasted.

Plots should be planned, everything else must be voluntary.

Edit: I'm going to have Karen make a brief appearance to try to get to Naisha since Orochi try to use Bees and experiment on them. In lore they have managed to genetically create their own army of Bees. They have had several attempts at using individuals and as Aka mentioned in the Horned God thread, many times younger ones with supernatural powers before they are potentially Beed, in horrifying supernatural experiments.
