The feyhund are a race of anthropomorphic canines of faerie origin that often embody qualities found in other faerie races. They are known for their brightly splattered coats, blue blood, and elemental abilities.
They have brightly splattered coats with white, brown, black, etc (natural shades) markings.
Their blood is copper based, and is blue in color.
They have short, wolf-like ears.
Eye-shape and color has a wild variance (including sclera color).
Faerie wings are not uncommon.
The species has rapid metabolisms and initially age more rapidly than a human. Though not immortal they live for extended periods of time, with one being considered an elder at approximately 200 years. The average lifespan is roughly 250 years.
Females have breasts and a vagina, while males lack breasts and have a penis. The penis is sheathed unless erect, at which point the fleshy appendage emerges from the sheath. Due to the increased rate at which they mature puberty generally begins between 7 and 9 years old. Gestation lasts approximately 32 weeks, and newborn feyhund are perfectly capable of holding their own heads up and even crawling several hours after birth.

crystal overgrowth, iridescent or bioluminescent markings
multiple eyes or ears, floppy or oversized ears
forked tongues, serrated teeth, colored nose

gills, fins, webbing, scales
Every feyhund is born with the ability to manipulate an element, which determines what type of fey they are, as well as some innate species-wide abilities. When using any of their abilities their eyes will glow. The element a feyhund can be tied to include Fire, Earth, Water, Air, Mind, Light. Each element has aspects they can learn when a feyhund masters their base element and, on average, each individual can utilize 2-4 of these aspects. Rare cases of Elemental Variants exist, typically believed to be caused by inter-element breeding.
