Zodikin are a race of humanoids not dissimilar to their cousins, the demigods, in that they are both descended from the gods. The biggest difference lies in the fact that zodikin are also descended from the 12 zodiac which gives them their elemental core and various physical traits reminiscent of their heritage.
Like other humanoids the zodikin are bipedal and walk upright. They typically range in height between 5 feet and 7 feet tall with just as much variance in their weight. A zodikin's elemental core is located in their abdomen where the solar plexus would be located on a mundane human, and this core is the source of their powers. Generally cores do not protrude from the skin and are instead subdermal, akin to an organ. While the core can be removed, doing so will kill the zodikin in question. Otherwise the size and shape of the core varies by individual.
The vision of a zodikin is greater than that of the average humanoid, and even their cousins the demigods. Because they lack the mortal part of their parentage, the zodikin are able to see in darkness as if it were instead dimly lit and can even discern colors in the darkness. Their pupils are round with only very rare instances of other shapes for their pupils, though there are innumerable colors for their irises. The sclera is black or white, depending on the type of zodikin.
