Master Lemay's Workshop.

Benoit had untied Neige from her post while his father and sister mounted the wagon to help turn her cautiously around. It wasn't very long until they had her turned around. Instead of getting back on the wagon with his twin and father, Ben decided to walk. He wondered how long it would take the Pye cousins to finish up their business with Lord Cléirigh and it would be to their satisfaction. He hoped to meet up with them again after he had helped his family move in. He knew his father would want to unload the equipment needed to set up and work in their new workshop first. Next they would take care of what little they had by way of furniture brought over from Normandy. Most consisted of chests with clothes, blanket, family heirlooms and what pots, dishes and such practical everyday items were easy to carry. They would have to make do with what little furniture the last owners or renters had left behind until they could order some when their business was up and running.

Ben hurried his step when he saw his father stop Neige in front of the building which would serve as their family workshop. With the outdoor fireplace and anvil, he wondered if the workshop had been the blacksmith until recently. Still the outdoor furnace would serve their need and they would have a second one working inside. He went up to meet with his family to help them unload and start to settle in.

((Jacob, Rose))
Jacob gentle brought Neige to a stop with the wagon in front of the workshop. He gave Rose the reins as he got down from the wagon and then brought Neige closer to a post to tie her. Rose got down to join her father as Ben joined them. "Allez, viens me donner un coup de main avec le matériel le plus lourd." He told his son as he grabbed a hold of a wooden bench.

Ben joined him at the back of the wagon to do the same, leaving Rose to take some of the pliers, files, goldsmith hammers and other tools of their trade. Jacob indicated to Ben to place the bench down long enough for him to get the workshop key and unlock the padlock to enter. He then went first as he picked up the bench again with his son.

The three of them worked non-stop to get everything settled within. Jacob smiled with satisfaction after everything they had brought for his new workshop had been placed. There was already a good solid worktable, dusty and slightly scar, but large and steady. He would find out who the local carpenter was and order another one if he was a good craftsman. He looked at both his children with a proud smile as he dusted off his hands. He went to untie Neige to bring her around to the house where they would unload their personal items and what little furniture they had brought with them from their home in Rouen. This time Rose walked over with Ben and he let the twins go ahead and get their first glimpse of the cottage that would be their new home. He walked Neige still hooked up to the wagon as he trailed after his son and daughter.
