We ask that you read these rules and conditions before applying to the Whitefang Pack.
Roleplay Rules
1. Age Requirements - Our community will contain strong elements of violence and gore, and therefore you must be 16 or older OOC to apply. IC there may be characters allowed that are minors, but with a few restrictions. Only characters that are also 16 and older will be allowed to participate in themes of heavy violence or gore. If you are found RPing with a character that does not meet the age limits, you will be asked to adjust your character to avoid disciplinary action.
2. Post Limitations - We ask that everyone writes a minimum of one paragraph per post in our roleplay forums. We understand that it is sometimes easier to write a couple sentences, but others won't be able to continue the story off of such little information. Don't forget to include your character's thoughts, feelings, and body language in your post. These details help make a sentence into a paragraph.
3. Roleplay Continuity - Our roleplay forums are open to all who have been accepted into the Whitefang Pack. It is the best way to openly and publicly interact with other characters. However, if you are joining a thread that has already been filled by other members, please be respectful of their roleplay and look for an appropriate opening to join in. Inserting your character without warning may put a lull in the thread, or cut it off entirely.
4. God-Moding or Abuse of Power - God-moding is not allowed within our community. Your characters are separate from one another, each with their own habits, mannerisms, and actions. Please be respectful, and do not post for others. An intense series of combat should be discussed beforehand, between participating parties. Checks and balances are put in place so that no being can totally destroy and wipe out the pack unless stated otherwise.
5. Bullying or Harassment is Prohibited - Everyone in our community deserves to be treated with respect. Do not bully or harass someone for any reason whatsoever. There should be no derogatory language of any kind used towards another person. Anyone who feels they are being harassed by another member should make use of the 'block' feature, and contact a moderator if the situation escalates.
6. IC and OOC - That being said, IC and OOC are two entirely separate worlds of reality, and should not be confused as one. Certain characters behave in ways that might offend your character, but it shouldn't offend you, as the writer. It never hurts to shoot your RP partner an OOC PM, and ask for clarification if you aren't sure.
7. Sexuality and Violence - There should be absolutely no publicly sexual posts in our forums. This community is 16+ and that content is not suitable for some members. Anything explicitly sexual should remain in private PMs.
Violence, however, revolves heavily around the Whitefang Pack and is generally acceptable on our forums.
8. Acceptable Characters- The Werewolf Pack is a community strictly made up of werewolves. Humans, supernatural creatures, and other variations of lycanthropy will not be allowed, though they may play part in future events. If you apply with a character that is not a werewolf, it is not likely to be accepted.
