Keep any and all NSFW content in Private Chats. Absolutely no violation will be tolerated, as this group is open to all.
Now then,
Who can join?
Any fan-made character (of the player's own creation) that explicitely belongs to an established franchise or can easily be fitted into one.
Aside from that, here are some more general rules:
1. No Planet Busting:
I realize that many characters can eventually aquire the power to blow up entire worlds, and that's awesome, but we only have one planet here, and it's everyone's job to take care of it. Anyone caught trying to blow up the world will be deal with on a case-by-case basis.
2. No Means No:
Romance is great, but only if everyone involved agrees to it.
3. Respect the Power Scale:
Some of these characters can have wildly divergeant power levels. I have a system in place to keep things balanced in this universe that will apply to this group. Rules for specific races will come up in a case-by-case basis. These rules can be ignored in private chats, but not in group forums.
4. You Want Extreme Power? Earn It In Character:
Everyone loves unlocking their next super-form and becoming the very best, like no one ever was, but in this nexus, characters who want to have these things must work up to that. Speed-Force users must work up to their impossible speeds, Saiyans must undergo intense story moments to unlock their various super forms, and Dragonborn must learn their more powerful words bit by bit. This is to help encourage players to quest together and have their characters grow and form bonds with each other.
5. No Canon Characters:
I'm sorry, but this isn't the group for it. If you want to include an alternate version of a canon character, discus it with me or an admin (the admin will then discuss it with me) and I'll make a judgement call, but, otherwise, no canon characters.
6. All Characters Must have their own Character Profile
Sorry, but no group-profiles (character profiles that exibit multiple playable characters as a group) or users playing without a character profile. This is to make sure everything stays clear and nobody gets confused over who is who, and people can make quick reference to any pertenent information about each other's characters.
Finally, Don't Be a Jerk:
In a situation like this, it's impossible to keep certain races/fandoms from becoming dominant in the long run. That's part of difference-in-kind and half the fun, but it's no reason to let it go to your head and turn it into a bad time for other players. If you want to play an antagonistic character, go for it, but just know that there are right ways and wrong ways to play them. Remember, we come to this to have fun, and as long as everyone is having fun, everyone wins.
