It was a crummy night for Leo. The city had all manner of entertainment in its vibrant nightlife, but this night resulted in a loss of a lot of money and a lot of wasted time. He ambled down the empty sidewalk, dragging a cigarette and sighing long past the closed shops that night.

That when a sound caught his ear, like a low rumbling of thunder but close by.

"The heck?"

He turned to look at the nearby building, a department store from the look of things. In addition to the low rumbling, muffled by the walls of the building came bright flashes through the windows. Something was going on inside. He dodged away from the window and pulled out his ramshackle scattergun, just in case.
The smell of ozone radiates thickly from the department store, making it smell as if it where a massive thunderstorm. And shortly after the lights began to flickers and loose objects rattled, a low roar could faintly be heard outside as a blinding flash of blue light which stopped all the strange activity in its tracks. Should he peek in the window now he’d find in the middle of an isle a completely nude woman! Kneeling down with her eyes closed.

Her ocular sensors flicked on to darkness. A red sheen would slide over as she entered search mode, night vision taking over her color vision as she examined her surroundings rising into a clean stand. Clothes. Parameter 1: Blend in. She searched and found much of the clothes here disintegrated by her temporal field, but managed to find a bright green dragon Onesie, quite cartoonish in look.

Parameter 2: N?#*6H9$* feedback screamed in her head as she malfunctioned, making her hair and twitch her arm in a disconcerting way. Weapons. She needed weapons. The T-800 approached the weapon case of the department store. Quite lackluster but they should do. She punched the glass, shattering the triple reinforced ballistic case with ease, tripping off the alarm as she did.
While the lights flickered, Leo just managed to catch a glimpse of the woman inside. The very naked woman. The very hot naked woman.

Yeah, he was interested! Too bad the doors were locked, and these weird sci-fi locks were not easy to break. Still, there were ways to beat any system if he just pushed hard enough. While she took the time to explore the interior of the store, Leo shook and shook his scattergun, and after a while, the soda-can strapped to it started to glow, and then he pressed both of its short barrels to the glass and pulled the trigger.

The glass then burst from the impact, glass shards and buckshot tinkling against the floor before the young merc hopped in himself.

"Yo! Sorry fer the noise!" he called, shouldering his weapon. The woman wasn't around anymore, but a moment later, the alarms started to blare. "Eh crap. Didn't think this through. Alright, he had three minutes before cops swarmed the place in this area. That was just enough time to find the hottie and get the heck out of Dodge. With all of the speed his long legs could muster, he dashed inside, quickly scoping out the dim isles until he spotted a human-shaped sillhouette.

"Hey! This way! We gotta move!"

He did not quite notice the onesie in the dark just yet.
As she helped herself to the assortment of weapons, easily removing the RFID tags on each as she pulled them off and attached holsters and straps. A Winchester 1887 lever action shotgun. Browning High Power Rifle. And a colt revolver. Those where all she had time to grab before she heard a gunshot and immediately went into combat mode.

She swept her ocular sensors around the isles waiting and watching for whatever had tracked her here. It soon made itself known to her. She leveled the shotgun at the point he would enter her eye-line, but not fire as he spoke. Male. Young Adult. Nonthreatening posture. Slowly Carmine shouldered her shotgun like he did, cocking her head to the side ever so slightly.

“Affirmative. Authorities are en route. Best option for escape through rear entrance.” She said flatly, walking forward with heavy footsteps walking close enough for Leo to see. Heading past him without bothering for an introduction, however he would be able to see the thick stuffed tail hanging off the back of the onsie. Carmine headed outback, seeing an old truck parked out back.

“Male, Do you own this vehicle?” She said again in that strangely flat tone of voice. Whether he did or not the T-800 brought the butt of her lever action rifle onto the window, shattering it and climbing inside. Stripping off the panel under the steering wheel and hot wiring the car after only two tries.
Wow. This lady talked like a freaking robot. Around a place like this, maybe she really was. He felt his enthusiasm for fan girly times drop, and the limp tail he saw confused him, but still, he followed.

When asked about the truck, he raised a hand. "Uuuuh, no. I do not."

Without a moment's hesitation, he hopped inside once she hotwired it. "Woo! Let's get goin'!" That's when he spotted her dragon onesie and crooked his lip. "Eh, you, uh, coudn't find a frumpier outfit, huh?"

Oh well, he thought. She was probably still nude under there. It was a weird thought, but people had weird thoughts all the time, he reminded himself.

"Name's Leo. What's your name?"
Carmine would put the truck in gear, using the stick shift as if she had been doing so for years. Reversing into the road with a short burst of speed before taking off into the night. Wind whipping in through the half rolled down windows. There was a pair of fuzzy dice on the rear view mirror and a hula girl on the dash. But it was relatively clean.

Carmine didn’t move her eyes from the road and remained focused purely on evading the coming police lights. “Negative. There where no clothes intact that would fit me. This was my optimal choice.” She informed. Carmine got them clear of the police and began heading to the outer part of the city to find a good place to hide the truck.

“Carmine.” She said looking over at him for a moment. “Leo. Do you have a place to hide?” She asked her gaze shifting back to the road as his face was run through the SkyNET database.

Leo Garaboldy: 21. Height: 6’0 Weight 167. Failed- Data Retrieval Erorr#%+*^<2750> Carmine yelped as she recoiled, twitching and yanking the wheel, making them swerve dangerously before she recovered them. ‘That glitch again..’ she thought. It seemed something went wrong, she decided to not try and connect to SkyNET for now and switch to manual function to avoid any more Errors.
The twitch and dangerous turn gave Leo quite a bit to rethink about his situation. "So, uh, tell me straight, okay? You a robot?"

He tried not to flinch as he said that. "I mean, ain't nothin' wrong with it, I'd just like to know, ya know?"

Once that settled, he leaned back and folded his hands behind his head. "Take a right up here and keep goin'. City's got a blind spot a few miles from 'ere. Great party spot some during the holidays, but usually pretty dead."
Carmine would flick her eyes back over to him and think whether he could be trusted with that information. Or if it was worth killing him later for. “No. But I have some cybernetics.” She lied in that same flat tone. “Do not worry. I understand it might be foreign to you.” She assured him canceling her connection and going only off her internal processor.

Nodding she would fallow his instructions, the wind from the open windows blowing her hair all over the place without so much as a complain from Carmine. She realized her actions outed her. With a large shaky breath she sighed brushing her hair away behind her ear. “I’m sorry if I’ve been acting weird, it’s just… I’ve had a weird day. I don’t want to talk about it to much though.” She explained, however her flat monotonous voice was…

More. There was more emotion. More reaction as she spoke, with her hand trembling slightly as she reached for the wheel. There was just more.. Human to her now. Hopefully it wa a enough to cover for her earlier missteps.
Cybernetics, huh? Leo couldn't even pretend to understand how they worked, but they were a good enough explanation for her odd behavior.

"Hey, it's cool," he said. "We all got our problems." He leaned his seat back and propped his feet onto his side of the dashboard. "Like me? I'm just to friggin' handsome. It's a curse, but, ya know, I learn o cope with it. You'll wanna ditch the truck 'round the next left. Nice deep ditch with a lot o' overgrown plants there. Make it hard to spot fer a few days."

Sure enough, in the distance she would spot the ditch on the side of the road he was talking about. It had a guard rail, though, which would complicate matters somewhat.
(Sorry! My wifi has been cutting out like crazy!)

Carmine would register his joke and chuckle while shaking her head. “I’m sure you say that a lot.” She said back. Fallowing his instructions taking the left and stopping the truck on the side of the road.

Carmine got out of the car, her rifle slung around her back, pistol on her hip, and shotgun in hand. She was geared for war it seemed. She made sure he left the vehicle before she gripped the frame, heaving it up and tipping it over the wheels on its left side. Letting it roll into the ditch.

“Come on. The safe house you mentioned should be around here somewhere.” She said without looking at him, scanning the horizon for signs of a domain.
Upon seeing her flip the truck over by hand, and by herself, Leo's heart skipped a beat.

"That... was the sexiest thing I ever saw a woman do. Not gonna lie."

Her initial scan would reveal something still a good walking distance away, but it was amid the trees, and not readily visible to anyone without special knowledge and sensory equipment.

Once Leo shook off his... pleasant feelings from having watched a woman flip over a truck with relative ease, he began trudging into the woods, directly toward that safe house. There was no path toward it, and he was forced to step over overgrown plants. After several minutes of walking in the dark, they came upon a clearing with a ramshackle cabin in the middle. Here eyes would sense lots of activity coming from inside, a lot of it clearly criminal using the most up-to-date law systems she would be familiar with. Some drug use, some gambling with a live animal or two, possibly even something worse in the lower floors.

Upon arriving, Leo quirked an eyebrow.

"Huh. It's busier in 'ere than normal," he said. He looked back at her, first at her onesie, then at her weapons. "Eh, crap. I didn't think about that. Ya got any way to hide them guns? Ya look like yer goin' to war."
Carmine examined him. True to Leo’s word his vitals checked out for arousal. Flushed skin, elevated pulse, rapid eye movement… Response catalogued. Shows of strength = Attraction.

She would look at him as if he where completely stupid when he asked about hiding her guns. “No. I have them for defense. It would be illogical to hide them while entering a potentially dangerous situation.” However she remembered that he does know more about this place than she…

“But if it cannot be helped… I can hide them nearby.” She offered. Carmine walked a little ways back to the forest and stashed her guns in the hollow part of a dead tree, returning to him shortly after. “Weapons stashed. Ready to proceed.”
Leo encouraged her to hold onto one or two things she could hide in her onesie... until they could get her something else to wear. However that was dealt with, he knocked twice, then three times, then once. After a pause at the door, footsteps would approach, and a latch would slide, revealing a pair of eyes. The latch would slide back, and the door would open, revealing an old man with an eyepatch.

"Runt," he grunted.

"Pops," said Leo. He lead her inside, and this old man stared at the woman dressed in the dragon onesie.

"I ain't even gonna ask," he grunted, locking the door behind them again. "

Once inside, they would find a number of people, mostly languishing along the walls and taking up the sparce, unkempt furniture. They would also find smells. Acrid smells of both bodily and unnatural chemical natures intermingled. Leo's lack of reaction to these odors implied that he'd been here more than once.

Leo stepped up to the bearded man, and they spoke in whispers. Should she choose to listen in, this is what she would hear:

"Two nights."

"Not two. You're behind on your last payment."

"Dude, I'm good for it."

"If you are, pay me, and for her too."

"Yer killin' me, Galt!"

"Ya get one night. Then get out and head to the Mote."

"Ugh, fine!"
