West and another figure descend down some stairs, there is a run-down elevator scrawled with graffiti.
West narrates
The elevator in our boarding house is fictional, in the loosest definition of the word. Every time I ride it, I feel like I'm putting my life in the Gods' hands. And desire everything they've done for me, I'd rather take the stairs.
West, now dressed in a green sherpa jacket, and another man with a long silver braid and a brown leather jacket emerge onto the street. There are caged balconies on the left, garbage bags piled in the street, long billboards advertising food. A pothole ridden road runs through the panel, with a old, rusty and broken car blocking the road. To the right are more balconies, and a small shop billowing smoke.
West continues "District 10 is much the same, haphazard, precarious, erratic, but functional.
We see the person walking beside West is Barame. He asks "So. You're going to buy Commander Lie?"
