Adael continues to sit on the bed, with the strange black smoke and eyes billowing from him. He happily chews on the rat with blood splatter on his face.
“Commander,” West speaks. “I’m sorry. I didn’t intend for things to be this fucked up. I don’t know how much you understand right now. But I figure in case you do—I should tell you. I don’t want you to think I’m treating you like this because I’m cruel.
