West glances over his shoulder.
“Ever since I spent all that time in the Badlands – I can see spirits everywhere. I guess spending so much time surrounded by them does weird things to a man.”
The scene changes to a snow-covered pine forest. A floating green spirit with one eye and a horned spirit are present. West continues “I don’t mean the normal ones – the summoned ones and the ones in the Badlands.”
The scene changes to a busy city street, various people are walking in all directions. West covers his face with his hand, four spirits with mask-like faces are present on the street. He continues to speak. “Literally everywhere. Dog can too, but I got the worst of it. He doesn’t seem to see as many as I do, or maybe he’s able to ignore them better.”
The scene changes to West working on the engine of a car – a masked spirit standing right beside him. He continues: “When I’m at work,”
The scene changes to West lying in bed, a masked spirit hunched over him, its face very close to his own. He continues “Or trying to sleep. I have to try and ignore them.”
