Finally the research was adopted by summoner Titus whom performed what was considered to be the first 'successful' summoning. He theorised that summoning the beast into a child, who through natural processes was learning to walk and speak, would allow the spirit to learn to use their human body. It is unknown from where he procured the baby, but Titus repeated this experiment on a young boy of not yet one week old. Over the next few years the boy showed normal mental and physical progression, learning to understand language and walk at the same rate as his peers. It was discovered that 'mundane' food was not enough to subsist his body, and required his diet with be supplemented with the same magical matter other bound spirits consume. The spirit within the child was bound to Titus, and when the child reached an age where he was able to comprehend commands, would obey them without question.

There is an image of a baby reaching up towards the camera.

There is an image of a young boy with a binding sigil on his back. He stands in a very static pose.

It is largely considered that the Parasite has limited practical use. Although the Parasite is without peer in physical strength against spirits and human alike, many powerful combat spirits can be summoned which do not require many years of 'growth' to become useful. Notably, it is one of the only spirits which is not slowly destroyed by Zira's unusual magical atmosphere, and as a result its long growth period may be offset if it is intended for a long-term usage in that country. The lack of magical ability by Ziran people mean there are few counter-measures against spirits, which make it both a powerful offensive tool against the people, and a notable defensive measure against outside magical threats. The spirit also appears humanlike which is unusual for combat spirits, although its movement is very unnatural. like any bound spirit, an attempt at even basic conversation would betray its disguise. This is expected, a bound spirit does not possess any thoughts which do not relate to direct orders. Furthermore, the requirement of a human sacrifice for the initial summoning is also considered distasteful to modern sensibilities.
