West and Dog sit at the food cart.
West: Part of me says it's not too late.
He runs his hand through a pool of condensation on the table, smearing it.
West: I'm sure I can get in contact with one of the other officers. We could just... give it back.
A tear falls from his face.
West: But the whole trim here I couldn't stop thinking...
The next panel is completely black except for white dialogue.
West: Iida and [Redacted] are already dead -- aren't they?
West: It is too late, isn't it. We can never go back.
Dog: You... Want to go back to that shithole?
