TαılThe Ssarae use their their incredibly powerful tail as their primary form of locomotion on both land and in water. The end is wing-like, allowing for rapid movement and directional change underwater.
Their tail is supported with hinged, duo-nodal vertebrae that can expand and contract, as well as rotate slightly. This allows for an immense amount of power from the skeletal structure as well as the dense musculature within their tail, allowing them to constrict prey or lift themselves on them. Their tails are always at least two times if not three or four times their standing height and their limbs are shorter on average. -

SɯımmıngSwimming is the most common form of travel for Ssarae, their long tails are powerful propellers that allow the Ssarae to reach speeds upwards of 110kph or more, due to sailfish being a favored delicacy and their being able to reach like speeds.
Some broods and their supporting dens have shown an exceptional affinity for swimming, some even conducting their own seasonal, ritualized aquatic orienteering races, and water sports.
They dive 100 to 600 feet, several times a day, every day.
All Ssarae have the same innate drive to swim far and dive deep.
