  • The focus of this group is for roleplaying and human-character development strictly for the Modern Day world. This group serves as a gathering point for like-minded writers to meet, talk, partake in group or 1x1 collaborative roleplaying, story-writing, and discussion. Writers can plan and create roleplays and stories together IC in a secure adult forum setting.

    Individual roleplays on the group forum can be set anywhere on Earth with modern technology and knowledge.

    Character applications whose profiles have real modern human face-credits will be considered for approval. AI generated character visuals will be closely reviewed by the group administrators, and only the most realistic of them will ever be accepted.

    Yes, all people no matter how you identify.] All are welcome. What is not welcome here are fascists, neo-fascists, and yes, those indifferent to the spreading fascism. Sadly, in the States (they really aren't 'united'), despite warnings, enough people voted for, or did not vote, allowing Donald Trump to be elected. It is why there is now a question on the group application asking if applicants are United States citizens, and if so, did they vote for Donald Trump.

    The Original Modern World will be maintained as a comfortable place to write with the knowledge that your co-writers here aren't supporters of the current regime that has taken power in the USA, or don't care enough about it. Now, as of the Spring/Autumn Equinox, the country is being destroyed by the Trump/Musk regime.

    Why It Matters.
    Having people who did or may have voted for Trump in November in the group says what kind of people they are by what they are willing to support. Those attitudes make a lot of people that are not white heterosexual males uncomfortable, feel unsafe, and inhibits their creativity. It is the goal to make and keep this group free of character-writers who support in any degree the hateful bigoted anti-American rhetoric that has surfaced from the Trump-Republican movement in the United States beginning in 2016 and has cumulated in the enacting of their 'Project 2025' upon the USA. If anyone has any questions about this, feel free to DM me, and/or join the group.

    Having those questions on the group application doesn't guarantee there aren't Musk/Trumpshirts here as anyone can say anything, but it will at least provide some filtering by putting off those types from submitting an application.
