OOC chat for Skyrim, Skyrim SE, all the DLCs, and all their mods. Please let me know if you would like advice regarding the main games or if you would like some general advice on modding.
This week I've been generally editing TGG and various cells so they can be used in screenshots to represent places we can use for adventures. I've also been building a few extra places, mountain regions, and valleys for areas that will be related to certain published maps in the group.
I've also created another character.
A young man-at-arms fully equipped and trained. I may make another thread to showcase some of our new adventurers. If anyone's interested in having one of these adventurers join your party or you want to portray them yourself then let me know.
Anyway, back to modding.

Looking good. If I had another character slot I would.
What hair mod is that style from?

Apachii Hair https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2014
I think there's a similar one in KS Hair.
I think there's a similar one in KS Hair.
I downloaded it last night. Seems okay. There are some nice hairstyles but non have physics.
I don't think Apachii will ever convert them to HDT SMP.
You'll find there are a few that are similar to those in KS Hairs with the majority having physics. They won't necessarily work well on older processors or in the original Skyrim.
There's also KS Multi Coloured, if you're looking for interesting features. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/8840?tab=description

Teaser!
Looks like we have ourselves a Grey Warden.

@Falyn. Is it her height or is it the camera? You press 'F' to change from 1st -3rd person.
It’s really her height. I zoomed as far back as possible in 3rd person.
The only thing I can suggest is player.setscale (then a number between 0.1 (min) and 10 (max), 1 being the height of the player by default.) The female Breton is set at .95, so you could type player.setscale 1.
This is our Breton, Zora, standing next to Ysolda.

Flipping hell! No wonder we don't play in Skyrim much, that outside lighting's atrocious!
This is Zora, what she really looks like. She's one of our agents in The Chimera Adventurer's Guild.

Her outfit needs the textures tweaked a little. This is mainly what I do most of the time.
The Original. Looks like it's been purchased from Wish.
My basic texture version. Looks a little more worn and dulled through age.

You need to enable the console first with the tild key ' ` ' Then type in the request. However, your character will revert back to their height of .95 when you log out and then back into the game.
Beresai's eyes.
It doesn't matter what appearance Beresai's eyes take on, they will always glow in the dark.
Are those apostrophes?
That’s really cool! Is that part of the original game design with the eyes?

This is the tilde key.
As for the eyes. No, I made the glowmap for Beresai's eyes. I was inspired by the idea of the vampire eyes glowing which is in the original game.
