Angelique is an ancient and powerful witch who is deeply connected to the celestial and infernal realms. She is blood bound to Lucifer himself and is the mother of his Nephilim child. In her profile, I have given her a background that incorporates elements of a novel that I am currently working on. However, I am willing to adapt her background to work on a different storyline. I want to use this storyline to develop Angelique and practice worldbuilding.
I want it to be as collaborative as possible so I am not preplanning much, but I will say that I have the following elements in mind:
* An ancient and powerful Grimoire called the Medeci Le Magick. This grimoire is made from her grandmother's skin and is the source of her powers. She is significantly weaker the further it is away from her. I was thinking that somehow the Medeci Le Magick needs to be found, whether that be by other characters needing to keep it hidden from her or her needing to find it herself to solve a problem.
*Angels and Demons involved somehow, but we can create our own mythology surrounding them and their hierarchy.
*An impending apocalyptic event is looming.
*I would also be open to incorporation of real life mythological elements (Norse, Egyptian, Roman and Celtic)
If anybody is interested in this and would like to collaborate on a storyline, let me know.

Hi Vickym96,
I have a number of projects I'm working on and others on hiatus/paused at the moment, I'm not really looking to take more on, but I wouldn't mind brainstorming ideas with you if it helps.
Where does your original idea come from? Your Nephilims make me think a great deal of the lore from a game I play and I RPed in, "Secret World Legends" which took some ideas and lore from H.P. Lovecraft as well as world mythology.
Would your character view the grimoire as a sacred or profane item?

The main inspiration started from the TV show Supernatural. Angelique would see the Grimoire as sacred
I’ve heard of the show, though I’ve never watched it. Lore on Nephilims and Watchers have been know to be used as a source in different genres across literature and media so certainly they can come from more than one source unless you use a specific cannon for them.
How would you envision this group finding out about this Grimoire and how much would they know about it? Would they want it for their own gain or to help your character. Unless you might want to have more than one group either working for or against your character. It could be more work to coordinate, but create interesting dynamics.

I was thinking maybe an ancient prophecy enlightens the group to the existence of the Grimoire. In my mind it was two separate groups working against the character to prevent her from finding the Grimoire that has been hidden. Though one of the groups initially doesn't realise who she is and she uses that to manipulate the situation so that they accidentally help her to find it
I know that you mentioned above that you want it to be collaborative and you didn’t preplan, but this is your story and your character’s. Is there a time period and world setting, even if you change and modify it to fit your own lore and those you RP with.
What I mean is for example; Mediterranean, early Middle Ages. It gives you an idea of technology, culture, mythology monsters, weapons, hairstyles, clothes. It can be tweaked and modified, but it it gives a staring point and general background and atmosphere as to what your group can and should expect. It can also give an idea of what you want and don’t want in your world such as more modern or steampunk elements.
