The dense forest of Red Oaks sprawled the majority of the area and even spilled into neighboring regions. Over the years locals had spun many legends and stories about the supposed 'cursed woods', it was hard not to these days between the disappearances and a psychotic killer on the loose.

Words to live by at Camp Redwood! It not only speaks to the challenge of camping but to the surrounding dangers of the Red Oaks forest as well. Be careful on the drive up, it's more than possible to get lost on the winding forest roads and end up on private property.
Camp Redwood is your usual idyllic, picturesque camp open to All Ages, Year Round. The busiest season is of course the summer where Redwood hires temporary staff members to assist with the influx of campers whereas the quiet winter season is generally only frequented by experienced guests who have approval from the Director to stay on the premises.
The camp offers a number of rental options from the standard spot for tents, rental cabins, spots for your camper, or even entire lodges! There's a lake for fun water-based activities. Come grab your spot today and remember, always be on the lookout for bears!
CAMP JOBS
Staffers are generally hired for one season, usually Summer, but can request to stay on for additional time if they'd like.
DIRECTOR: — Runs the camp, not the owner of the land
COORDINATOR: — Leaders of various groups, acts as a supervisor between the Director and the Counselors
RANGER: — Security, animal control, hiking, etc
NURSE/AIDE: — Responsible for first aid
CAMP COOK/KITCHEN STAFF: — Seasonal or all year, pays enough
COUNSELOR: — Seasonal employee, usually young adults since it's minimum wage

THE CABIN IN THE WOODS
A standalone cabin owned and rented out by a private party. Very secluded in the forest, great for people who just want to get away from the city and experience nature. Inquiries can be made at (805) 555-1040 to book your stay, available year round.

Large outdoor music venue in the main forest clearing close to Fairfield/Hillside Heights. Attracts standard shows and festivals alike, can be rented out for other events as well. People will often drive into LS and camp at Camp Redwood for concerts.
