You wake up, like how you always would on any other day. However, something is not quite right. You're passed out in a classroom, your head resting on a desk. Disoriented, you look around- this is definitely Hope's Peak, the school you've spent the last two years attending. But it's... eerily empty, and the windows are sealed shut with metal plates. In front of you is a childishly scribbled note instructing you to go to the gym. Finding nothing better to do, you do such.
There, you find your classmates. Nobody seems any less confused than you are.

Oscar is dumbfounded by his new surroundings. I mean, it's not every day you wake up in the school you once attended, well, are attending, without a clue what was happening. Maybe it was a school event? That was probably a logical solution. But as he stood in the gym, he wasn't really sure this was the case anymore...
But he continued thinking about whatever short boys think about.

Tsubasa chews at his lip nervously, cautiously looking around. He's on edge, even more so because... well, it's a nerve-wracking situation regardless. He can worry about the other stuff later. Why are they the only ones there? There's only about sixteen of them altogether... where's everyone else? Other students? Teachers? And why are the windows bolted shut like that?! He holds his arms. This has to be a weird nightmare or something.
Vivian looked around, more confused than anything. She couldn't care less for the teacher, though. they got on her last nerve, not that she could remember much about them anyway... She shook her head, looking up in slight anguish. She remembered the note perfectly, as she had been trained to remember certain written things, though the awful handwriting had slightly messed up the memory for it, though she still managed to read it. She fidgetted with a small strand of her hair as she looked at the others
Theo, Ultimate Rock Climber, walked into the room just a tad bit late without a care in the world for what was going on right now. All he could think about was, 'Damn, Oscar's here?' and, 'How'd he get in here? He's not smart enough to open doors.'. Theodore hated Oscar, because he's just a jerk and doesn't appreciate his fellow short boys.
When Jun woke up, the first thing she did was pull a strand hair out of her mouth. The second thing she did was sit up and assess her situation. she usually wasn’t one to fall asleep in her classes. She didn’t recognize the people around her either. rubbing the sleep out of her eyes, Jun lifts herself up. "Whats going on?" she asked, looking at the other students who were already awake in hopes of answers. when she saw the note, she made a face of hesitance. “I’m not going to the gym alone. We should probably wake the others up too,” she thought out loud.
The first thing Aya noticed when her eyes fluttered open was the boarded-up windows. She almost let herself fall back asleep, thinking that she was in some sort of fever dream. That is until she can feel the vibration of steps spreading to the desk her head was currently laying on. Shit, she fell asleep with makeup on. That was going to be great for her skin later. At least she didn’t wear contacts today. She stood up, looking around to take in her surroundings. There was an anxiety growing in her chest, though it doesn’t show on her face. She’s dealt with six siblings. Surely this isn’t too bad…
Ubel woke up in the boarded up room, lifting his head off of the desk and glancing around. Strange room he found himself in, with a slight stretch he grabbed the note, reading the horrible squiggle. Humming a bit as he stood up, he didn’t have anything better to do. Plus, he wouldn’t mind some answers of his own. Stepping out into the hallway, leaving the classroom behind him. Walking down the empty hallway, looking at even more boarded up Windows, a heavy sigh left his nose as he made his way down to the gym. He opened the door and poked his head inside, tilting his head at the others scattered among the room before slipping inside, walking over to join them. Silent with his hands deep inside his pockets, this was probably not good in the slightest.
Emory isn't that concerned at first. It wouldn't be the first time he fell asleep in class. When he sees the steel plates on the windows, though... that's when he starts to panic. He immediately starts to head to the gym when he reads the note, looking closely at the boarded windows as he goes. Geez, this is.... thorough. There's no way these things will budge. Panic rises even higher in his chest. Is he alone here? Is he going to be trapped here forever, all by himself in the place that felt the most like "home"?
No, no time to panic. He continues his pursuit of the gym, taking a deep breath before he opens the door. Oh, there are other people. What a relief. Even more comforting is a friendly face. He looks around, taking a moment to recognize the other students before he stands next to Ubel. He seems just as confused as he is-- everyone does, actually. He chews on his lip as he tries to come up with an explanation for the strange circumstances.

Aelin woke up and looked around, she didn't know what was going on. And frankly, she had seen a heavy dose of weird. The steel plates on the window scared her, she looked around and notices others were there. "Does anyone have any clue what's going on??" She asked timidly. She was rarely quiet and when she was, well it didn't go well. She got up and someone, not knowing who followed her, well it was more ghost-like. Most likely her ghost of the past but it would disappear quickly. She opened the door and walked to the gym, she looked for a friendly face not finding any she sat in the back and leaned back her feet on the desk. She would pretend to be weak until she knew what was going on. The worst thing someone could do was underestimate her.
The atmosphere felt so unwelcoming, it was dark and eerie. The only thing that accompanied Fujisaki was a flimsy, cheap-looking pamphlet instructing her to go to the gym. She shivered, she shouldn’t trust it, but maybe finding other people is more comforting than standing in a desolate classroom. She looked around, the windows were sealed shut with shiny gray plates and bolts. She knocked on one, yep, as she expected, it was metal. She stepped back, what was she gonna do? Follow the creepy pamphlet’s instructions, or stay here? She walked to the door and cautiously opened it. After many minutes, hours, it felt like, of wandering around she finally arrived at the gym. She was surprised to find other people standing there, their expressions told her they were just as confused as she was. She shifted uncomfortably and studied each person silently before studying the gym’s decor.
When Tomoko woke up she was calm well on the outside she looked around in shock. She started thinking logically maybe this is a lucid dream She decided to pinch herself, it hurt She was stunned and then she noticed the boarded-up windows and the other people in the room. She was confused and she didn't know what was going on, she decided to keep a calm mind and just wait to see if anyone was going to explain why she was there.
Aelin looked around as new people arrived, she wondered what was going on and she looked up. Clearly, they would have to work together, she had a message appear on her phone, it was from her mom wondering what was going on she didn't respond. Something big was going on here, and what it was she didn't know. She stayed quiet, pretending.
It didn't take long for aya to follow the directions on the pamphlet. thankfully most schools had the same layout, and whatever school this was wasn't any different. even if she hadn't attended school for the majority of her life, she had figured out the layout enough thanks to her younger siblings and essentially raising them. the classroom had little to nothing of interest. the most eye-catching thing she had noticed were some curtains, but that was about it. when she made her way to the gym, she noticed other students standing around in a group. she wasn't alone, that was good to know.
"What's going on?" Aya asked, anouncing her presence to the rest of the students. "anyone have any clue what we're doing here or why the windows are boarded up?"

Fujisaki crossed her arms and looked expectantly at the others. However, nobody seemed like they had an answer to the question, “I don’t know, but whatever’s happening can’t be good.” She started thinking, this looked like a school, but last time she checked, schools did not have their windows boarded up nor have no exits in sight. The silence let a shiver travel up her spine, was someone gonna tell them why they were here? Everyone stared at each other, waiting for the same thing to happen. She stuffed her hands into the pockets of her thick jacket, was she dreaming? What’s gonna happen to them all?
At his point, the white-haired female got sick of the intense silence, deciding to break it " Hey! What the hell is happening!" She hissed out, already aggravated by whatever was happening " If this is some kind of sick joke, play it on somebody else!" Vivian crossed her arms as she felt a few gazes on her " What? We were all thinking the same thing!" She grabbed a match out of her pocket, lighting it before placing the flame in her mouth
Saki winced at the small flame, smoking indoors doesn’t seem to be a wise move. “You’re right… but does anyone know how we got into this mess in the first place?” she asked, glancing at the others. It was a school, she knew that, but she didn’t remember falling asleep in a classroom, who was doing this? She layed her eyes on the white-headed female who lad lashed out. They needed an explanation, and they needed it right now.
Shibboteth:
Shibboteth stood closer to the stage placed at the other end of the large gymnasium, a blank look adorned on their face as they gaze around in silence, finding the red, white, and dark beige colour scheme of the room somehow more foreign in their mind, despite going to Hope's Peak for over two years at this point— an odd sense of jamais vu. The welcoming chill that always seemed to linger in the air felt bitter and almost suffocating now, nipping at the few spots where skin was visible as well as prompting them to cross their arms over their chest, in attempt to keep some level of warmth circulating throughout themself. Said chill also carried the smell only found in gyms ( along with that of cigarette smoke ) or other places of tedious exercise- a musky staleness that one could feel with each breath, filling up their lungs with years old dust and sweat practically imbedded into the surrounding area; flashes of sporting team practices and games ran course through Shibboteth's wandering mind. Determined fighting spirit of those from before them could damn near be tasted on the tongue...it made the current student body present bleak in comparison. Listening to the others bicker or question the situation continued to make the whole ordeal feel more and more fabricated, like they would wake up at any moment somewhere that seemed solid enough to be considered reality...it deserved dedicated thought, to be explored fully...but it was difficult to do when being consciously watched.
Jhynwren:
Jhynwren tried not to immediately look away once Shib sent a cool glare her way, instead opted for as much of a genuine smile as she could muster at that moment under such strange circumstances, followed by a waving peace sign hybrid that made her feel a little more than just ridiculous and only then did she advert her gaze. Not wanting to seem reluctant or awkward over the encounter, the short-haired student decided to give her two cents on the matter, whilst also taking a couple steps towards the denser part of the group.
"Maybe it's a prank from the third years!", Jhynwren shrugged with a half grin that was almost apologetic. "I bet the boards on the windows are just aluminum sheets or something- everyone's probably hiding out behind the stage, ready to jump out and scare us at any second now...", she let the second half trail into a whisper as her sight flickered between those around her and the aforementioned stage, ending with a light wink before turning around to presumably make way to the spot.
