It all began in 2080, when humanity celebrated a Golden Age of prosperity and excess. Science and technological advances accelerated the like of which the world had previously only dreamed of, and humankind revelled in their wonders.
With dwindling resources, tensions rose between nations. Fifty years later would mark an event known today as the Last World War. Nobody remembers who struck first, but one thing was certain.. the end result was catastrophic and promised an end to society as we know it.
The population decreased dramatically, leaving an undetermined percentage of humanity left. People salvaged what they could after the nuclear fallout. New governments rose out of the ashes of war, wrestling for power while the rest of humankind struggled for survival. The year 2230 is where our story begins, with a New Age of nuclear winters, petty skirmishes, radiation, and brutal human survival.
