Races

  • STANDARD

    • Humans: Regular people.
Clones: Those unfortunate to be made a clone suffer what is called "DNA degradation" unless given a yearly dose of DNA stabilizers. Those without the dose may experience a rapid aging process which can be painful to bear, otherwise the stabilizers allow them to lead a normal life. Clones are usually made for a specific purpose due to certain aspects or attributes that are desirable: military (strength), prostitution (beauty), the arts and entertainment (creative), science (gifted minds), etc.
Splicers: Humans generally forced or given the DNA of an animal to naturally amplify their strength or physical appearance. This is often for cosmetic purposes, of which the elite enjoy. Note - Splicers are not currently a playable class/subspecies.

    • Cyborgs: Humans with metal grafting and cybernetic augments, meant to enhance a person's physique and quality of life. The military often uses cybernetic enhancements. Rudely nicknamed 'Borgs' by the close-minded.

    • Androids: Machines with a human consciousness—most might not remember their previous lives in their mortal coils. Those that exist today were probably from pre-war.

    • Bogeymen: Humans born with or subjected to radiation leftover from the nuclear fallout, mutating their flesh. Nicknamed "Glowsticks", or simply "Bogeys". Some lost their minds and have succumbed to violence, others are learning to survive with their newfound.. affliction.

    OTHER

    • Robots: A whole class of their own, robots are made to do man's dirty work. Some are given artificial intelligence, others are made with a specific purpose in mind and are not capable of free thought.
