Throughout your journey among the Heartland, you will meet various zombies as well as raiders that will want you dead. Luckily, along the ride, you will come across weapons, gear and vehicles to make your life a hell of a lot easier. This page describes things you will be able to find.
Melee Weapons
Any object can be a weapon if you swing it hard enough, and that's a fact. Whether you find a pristine-condition machete to hack through zombies with or you managed to pick up a stick that looks like a deformed club-pickaxe hybrid all comes down to how well you can swing the thing. Weapons are categories into 4 different classes.
- Bladed-A bladed weapon... well, has a blade. If it has a sharp edge or a pointy bit, its considered a bladed weapon. Built to dismember and decapitate, these are good for clean cuts to the head and limbs. Examples of these are Machetes, Swords, and Hatchets
- [Blunt-Blunt weapons are anything without blades, anything that won't cut through the flesh through ordinary means. They cause more grave wounds then they do actual decapitation. Good for bashing in brains, and generally more durable then Bladed weapons. Examples of these are mallets, maces, and hammers
- Heavy-Heavy weapons require 2 hands and deal big damage in place of being much more difficult to wield, with the weight having an effect on both how you move, and how much damage is dealt. Examples of these are sledgehammers, shovels, and hog splitters
- Close-Combat- A Close-Combat weapon is your final stand when all other weapons break. generally small and most likely not fit for combat, a weapon of this sort should only be used when all other options are gone. Examples include knives, screwdrivers, and scissors.
Melee weapons are prone to break, serving no further use to you unless you can either repair it or find another one to do the job. These are much more common to find, as anything really can be a weapon
